jwyj, i see you are using ultrafire batteries. To notify you, we just had a customer a few weeks back came to our shop to buy the AW18650, he said he recently bought ultrafire rechargeable 18650 battery and it exploded while charging, it was just inserted into the charger once he turn around it exploded. In fact lots of news about this online, do research on it.

Do take precaution wouldn't want to see anybody getting hurt. blush.gif Same issues for trustfire too.

Nice collection by the way. biggrin.gif

Would like to add Selamat Hari Raya to all. Do drive safely back kampung. icon_rolleyes.gif

Lazyboy, yup you may have meet me, sometimes i will be at the shop too. There is 2 girls at shop sometimes (we both manage LYN), the fatter one is me. blush.gif

susuman, nope he did not explain it in detail all the details are as above only. I know it was protected thou and the charger has no physical or internal damages, it exploded did not catch fire. Basically thats all the info we have.

polkiuj, sweat.gif u linked my name to gw2u, nice linking. Never even though/realise that before lol.

Hey GW2U aka GWEN hehe...
Would you know if the new fenix diffuser (flat one with open/close cap) fit the Quark AA head?
*
I know cause i also have a Quark AA bought from polkiuj. Can fit in but its very tight and hard to take it out, if you are not intending to remove then its fine.

Awww man... are you on duty or something? Can skip for the flashaholic gathering? brows.gif  Or maybe come later? We'll still be around

You mean the positive node with a nipple right? I read somewhere can use a small screw nut to act as the nipple for the positive node. Not sure how to stick it... glue on the edge just enuf to stick but still have contact, though I dont think it's safe to solder.

Added to orginal post, and updated list.

How bout the rest? Philight, Refnulf, Alantch, dannie, gwen, Striderman, who else  hmm.gif ...

Rookie!! why serdang cannot?
*
At the moment not confirm yet. Will let you know if we can go or not...
Thanks for the invite smile.gif

For ET lights, the use of button top cells is required due to a physical reverse polarity ring.

PS: I feedback good and bad response to ET, including my own opinion. I am still an flashlight enthusiast first  brows.gif
*
For ET light, instead of using button top cells it can be easily fixed with the rare earth magnet from Dealextreme. We do have the magnets but its provided only when you purchase the flat top head batteries from us (have to request thou). icon_rolleyes.gif

ET is not alone in having past design faults. But at least they made improvements to counter problems, which is commendable in this business.

Heylo, Welcome to The Bright Side~! Hope you'll enjoy the P10A2 when you have it!

  hmm.gif

We bought the magnet from DX also. Cause previously got customer bought our AW battery didn't mention to us going to use it fro ET and after that was saying can't use so had to order the magnet from DX specially... doh.gif
So we order extra just to standby for such cases again.

Yea, great value add biggrin.gif I was thinking about if it was safe for the battery or flashlight, manage to lookup some quick info, I think it'll work without issues unsure.gif

Wow great! Can go and have a look biggrin.gif
*
Nope no problem, cause the magnet can conduct current. We have been using it with flashlight which needs 2pcs 18650 due to flat head can't contact wit each other.

old newspaper, u mentioned that u went to gadgetworld and they helped u make the threads easy to turn.
May i know how they did it?
Or maybe gadget can answer. smile.gif

Basically the major problem is the o-ring they used. If you notice the Quark o-ring is really soft (a bit thicker too) compared to other flashlight o-rings, so just change them to a harder type of o-ring (we used the Nitecore D10 o-rings). This method even worked for my Quark AA Tactical. smile.gif Hope this helps.
