I'm interested to see your E2L and L1, especially the head, and how they mount the LED inside. Maybe can get some tips to mod a piece of LED into my e2e.

jwyj, when you will be getting your z2. i was eyeing that, but you beat me when it was offered to be bored.

The seller need to send the Z2 to EG first and then don't know when EG will deliver to Malaysia.... I take this rare opportunity to save on the postage from USA, and adding something else that he sells, NetKidz clicky, g3 florescent yellow body. I use the $15 postage..

i saw an ultrafire wf-501 being sold at one of the stalls at amcorp mall. cant remember the price exactly, i think he mentioned 200 plus.

Good suggestion, what the rest thinks?

Just add what I think. If we have different LEDs for different needs, we might end up with different driver, batts and prices. Will that have effect on cost? We have to manage this specifically and inform the supplier or they'll be mistakes in end production. Or should we stick to one LED and tint for now, same driver, but capable of changing reflectors(OP, SMO), and modding. By keeping things simple, we can budget at RM150 per light?

Regarding the body, are we gonna use their existing body for laser engraving or fully designed our own? This area need expertise and I think we should use their custom body? This part unclear.

just a few checkpoint here:

1. list of interested flashaholic
- Strinq
- Susuman
- Pseudoblue
- Old Newspaper

2. light's configuration / spec /
- we were from pre-discussion now in actual discussion then proposal and final decision.

3. budget
- < RM150 (please discuss, but lower price and high quality is always prefered)

4. communication and negotiation with Richard, the manufacturer of MrLite or maybe others
- let one person communicate better = Old Newspaper

5. timeframe
- Shall we come out with our final decision by end of next week? I don't have much experience in this area and we could use more feedback.

BTW anyone here have a Pelican case? Roughly how much does it cost? Im looking for a size which can fit all of the below

1) G2
2) 6PDL
3) E1B
4) Seraph SP-9 + extender (aka SP-12) + Seraph P7 turbo head = I think its size should be roughly equivalent to a SF M4?
5) SC 1 spares carrier

So anyone here knows how much a Pelican case would cost to fit those??

150 sounds really low. Hehe.

Any artifact free LED will do.

I'd prefer a nice sleek, simple design but any nice design will do since it's the 1st time.

Individual nick Engraving is great!!

3 brightness mode with strobe/sos ok, but prefer memory mode (with saving the mode if not on-off for 2 second, like the solarforce L2), so every time your turn on it is like single more torch, but will not save the strobe/SOS mode , then it is perfect.

Designing the body?, hmm, can, but if we cannot come out if the CNC diagram/files for them, maybe we choose a similar body and then as a minor touch up (avoid infringe of copyright/industrial design issue), I like jetbeam body though.

1x123 or 2x123/18650 is ok with me, but if it is Surefire 6P /P60 compatible then it is more fun, you can use surefire (or other compatible maker's) accessories, drop in , tailcaps , wah, then it will be a perfect light, that I wanted!!!

update from Richard, MrLite:

customized body is not possible.....can be done if there's a min order of 200pcs and above.

what we can do is change the output mode, change the led emitter and add printing or engraving...

printing and engraving would be a huge gap in terms of pricing....

current circuit only can support Q5, R2 & MC-E......XPG R5 will need a new circuit which is coming very soon....

and yes, it's 6P compatible !
