Yes but only the non-clumping cat litter. Clumping cat litter have chemicals in them to make them clump together when wet. So it's not good if the hammy eats it. Am using it for my syrian's toilet as they are toilet trained.

They can eat cheese but not sure about cheese cake. Anyway I don't recommend it.
