you got to spend more time with him/her...make it a routine. he/she will definately get used to you..."bribe" him/her with treats (not too much though)

Hehe, no treats yet, no money(student)/time to buy, next week might go buy. icon_rolleyes.gif
Currently just bribe use 'kuachi'. Hehe. About 5kuachi per day.

Maybe my Squeezy (Syrian) still new, now using the tissue thingy (put tissue into pocket during day time, night time take it and put into cage so they get use to my smell). Just bought it 5days ago. Hehe

Usually cages were painted. So if hamster chew the bar,it will consume some paint inside, which is not good. And frm time to time, the cage will rust,so u get the point smile.gif

Erm, he 'seems' alright..u never know what is happening inside... and i am sure for long term it wont do any good for ur squeaky..

Take the initiative and change the cage to plastic or other housing except bar cage lo..

Drool? What u mean? u saw the saliva droppin out from his mouth??

hamsters face(esp the chin part) appear to be wet as if they're sweating if the cage or the weather is hot/stuffy or also due to poor ventilation. is there enough water for him in the cage? is the cage big enough and airy?

I have a problem

Min bit the bottle until she broke her tooth. It was also disturbing our sleep as well...but my dad is so paranoid she said she won't drink if I change place.

Everytime I change the bottle's place to internal bottle system is put it back outside. We noticed that she doesn't drink as often if it's not in the usual place.

He is scared she won't drink enough and get dehydrated. I said she will drink and I saw her drink but won't believe me sad.gif

she'll definately drink if she's thirsty... maybe she hasn't notice where the bottle is or she is not used to the new place of the bottle. but i think she'll be fine. maybe every few hours you can hand-feed water to Min if you're afraid that she's not drinking at all.( by holding the bottle in front of Min.)

So pink and squishy...like gummy bears only XD:hyper:

Oh Nezu...I noticed your intro picture still says "V12" oops.gif

So what's happening in the hamster scene now? Any cahnges of coat or breed in the market? Every hamter I see now is a banded or half-banded....rarely see solids anymore.

Market alot of bandeds. But if you are lucky, can come across nice ones. Recently pet family had a big load of satin hamsters. I manage to get 3. Solid colours too. Just need to go visit petshops here and there before you can spy on some lovely colours.

Added on August 9, 2009, 11:02 pmThese days alot of sick pet sellers.... sick in the head for making animals suffer.

Look at these Winter White hamsters

Aduih this is called lame marketing scheme.

It's like teaching people that the normal colours are boring and therefore everything must be neeeeeeeeeeeoooonnnnn

/fail

Since I only can keep one hamster at a time, spy also not much use XD.

I took pictures of little Minmin but haven't resized them yet. Will post soon.

Her face is a lot flatter than Tiny, and I guess that's how hamster are supposed to look like....not mousy laugh.gif
