Can somebody advise me...I'm about to receive RM5k bonus..should I invest in unit trust or should I just keep in my ASB? Which is the better way to go?

guess u r a bumiputra, it depends on your risk profile, if u are a conservative preson, throw your money in ASB. Or else invest in Equity Fund or share market.

Anyone got borrow money from bank to fund ASB? Do there give certificate out to u? I borrowed money from RHB to fund ASB but until now almost 1 year didn't give me the certificate. Duh.

because when u loan u need to be prompt and discipline in paying the loan in other word force to pay biggrin.gif

but if u very good in controlling your money, then it best not to loan for long term profit. rclxms.gif

Neither is it a personal loan nor a housing loan. It is called ASB loan or ASB Financing and it works a bit like house mortgage as well. You can get it at either Maybank, CIMB Bank or RHB Bank.

still depends though.. for asb loan.. try to apply for longer time period for maximum profit.

This is my experience with ASB, did it once with ASW as well.

If withdraw from Post Office, I think RM5k per day.

If withdraw from PNB counter, max. cash withdraw is RM10k. More than that, they write you a cheque.

Bank should be the same with PNB.

mmm but what if lets say i want to withdraw total 20k max, can i say withdraw 10k with maybank and then the other 10k with cimb?

no limit i guess, just did it last month, transfer from ASx account to my current account in CIMB and immediately i can cash out by using CIMB cheque already.

RHB Bank = no limit
(**as long as the particular branch have enough cash then they will give you RM1 Million of cash if you want but no idiot will carry that much cash around since like 2 - 3 decades ago)

CIMB Bank = RM50,000/day/account

Maybank = RM20,000/day/account

Pos Office = RM10,000/day/account
