QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ Jan 3 2010, 01:42 PM) i think it will be a long queue as everyone rush to update their passbook. Plus 1st day of the month, customers also go to bank to do other bank transactions. Hi, cheahcw can U tell me which are for the Bumi & Non-Bumi ? AFAIK, ASW2020 is for Non-Bumi. The last distribution was April 2009, and how to check the return percentage ? 6.3 % ? How about if I plan to invest in my friend's acc ( bumi ), no black and white ? Trustworthy issue ? |

Went to CIMB Bank. Was asked how much we'd like to withdraw. The receptionist told us they are running low on cash today, hence withdrawal for ASB has been limited to no more than RM10k per account holder today.
Was kind of surprised to be informed that they are running low on cash considering this is the largest CIMB Bank branch in the whole Sabah |

Just a note. No such problem at a rather new RHB Bank branch here in KK suburb. The branch was jam-packed too just now. They already gave out 45 numbers specially for ASB related transaction at 10.00am. |

i did take up asb loan 3 years ago using maybank 'fixed amount' standing instruction. cant remember the BLR rate back then, but since the BLR have been reduced, i have been paying more than the required amount.
seems that i cant change the standing instruction to fluctuate according to BLR, but just that my loan tenor might be shortened since i pay more. but if BLR increase, then tenor will be longer. |

BLR lower, excess used to pay up the principal sum;seems that i cant change the standing instruction to fluctuate according to BLR, but just that my loan tenor might be shortened since i pay more. but if BLR increase, then tenor will be longer. BLR higher, maybe can do a lump sum payment. |
