I think its crap considering that they made a profit of RM 7 bil from investments. Most of the money probably channeled to Bn to prepare for coming election. It should have been min 9.5% (including bonus) if they really wanted to make the Malays happy.

on 3rd January, ASNB will be full with ppl want to withdraw money. hehe even at maybank/cimb also later on ;P


anyway, i got a question..regarding the calculation of dividend.. they calculate for every month. izzit the average amount of that month, or d lowest amount of that month?

so its means, if i have 10k inside d account, early in the month i withdraw 9k, left only 1k. and before end of month i put back 9k to become 10k..

asb still consider the amount of that month for dividend calculation is the lowest amount which is 1k?

Its not that simple.

Dividend is based on average lowest monthly balance for the year 2011.

Bonus is based on average lowest monthly balance for the last 10 years.

So you really need to know the lowest monthly balance, not just the year end balance.

yes of course its not that simple dealing with bank interest.
but at least he should be able to calculate it roughly by himself.
not exact, but still he can get the estimate figure.
