Me and my sister managed to register ASB this year using birth certificate, my race is sino-kadazan(makes me a bumi).
My younger brother can't because his race is chinese due to the officer refuse to put his race under sino. its totally unfair. vmad.gif so fortunate I'm also got ASW2020 afew years ago. rclxms.gif

if one of your parents are sino kadazan, the jabatan pendaftaran negara cannot refused your brother's birth cert to be stated as sino kadazan.
in the Race colume, a child can either follow mother or father.

I thought in Sabah, when the father is non-bumi, their children will be considered non-bumi.

that is in sarawak, both parents must be bumi for their kids to become a bumi, for Sabah, either one will do, not necessary father, mother also possible

The previous Amanah Saham Malaysia, Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 and Amanah Saham 1Malaysia, which are fixed price funds, available for the non-bumi are sold out.

If you want these fixed price funds, you might have to wait for the declaration and announcement of new units offered for sale by ASNB.

Others are price fluctuation ones such as ASN3 and ASG..

Selling ASN3 is a nightmare. I have invested in this and want to cash out after making profit.
I went to few banks, all said their system can't connect to PNB and asked me to go to PNB if want to sell the units vmad.gif

if asnb system is down, all pnb funds will be affected, not only asn3, sometimes is the agent banks connections down, not pnb, so next time if u go to say Cimb, and line down, u can still try Maybank or Rhb/ post office.

hmmm quite surprise that the dividend rate for AS1M is still not announced yet. only about 2 weeks to go before their financial year-end. i would have thought with the stockmarket etc at multi year highs, this would be an opportune time..

perhaps want to wait for tomorrow Hari Malaysia... smile.gif

I went to RHB but they said their line cannot connect to PNB for ASN3 but fine for ASW2020. Then I turn to CIMB, but unfortunately they
also gave me similar answer. Meanwhile, post office don't buy back the ASN3. They only do the selling as one of their staff told me.

Based on their historical declaration, maybe mostly likely next week, or the 23rd.. ^^

Hm... those funds also give consistent returns to the investors.

But from my perspective, my investments does not consider the both of them due to the service charge of 5%..

As an investor who invest heavily, with low personal savings ratio, it might be too risky for me to risk part of my capital when i withdraw it because its more on long term than short term..

If you are thinking about accumulating for long term, i guess ASG offers better, namely 3 funds under ASG..

Those funds should be available at most of the time..

Hope this information could assist you.. nod.gif

in fact nothing special abt the ASG series, u need to pay the 5% service charge still, and I found that private mutual funds equity fund series perform better, if u already hv the pnb's fixed price fund why not u diversify ur investment in equity fund in private company? Some distributor like FSM and cimbclicks offer lower sales charge of around 2% only
