What do you mean? I've read the article and nothing changed

It has always been partial. I transfered from my Launch Unit 60GB HK to a US 80GB and all are transferred except for DLC, games and game installs.

All my gamesaves are working except for Burnout as it was copy protected.

I think you can import Blackmagic Intensity Pro in if you want to record via HDMI.

Forget all those crappy Hauppauge, K-world, etc.
They're useless, you'd barely be able to record in 720p.

Get the Blackmagic Intensity: http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
Very pricey yes, $199 USD. But if you really want HD quality capture, this is it.

+1

Intensity is awesome.

I bought a Decklink HD Extreme and its great.

Blackmagic has HDMI In and Out, so you can record with HDMI while playing on a HDTV thumbup.gif

If 720p is sufficient, there is also the USB Blackmagic which accepts component.

Yea, Gamersyde and Gametrailers both use Intensity to record their vids. Although GT always downscale their videos quality however.

The Lens of Truth uses an Intensity Pro to record comparison vids.

They do downscale the videos a little bit, but the downscaling isn't as bad as GT.

To be honest, I wanted to buy the Multibridge at first, mainly because it didn't need a PCI-e slot.

However, the price was too much and I saw no need for that many Mic-in.

I dont think my laptop got pci slot so intensity is out of question for me. Is hauppauge really crap in quality? My main priority is to be able to play with my hdtv so a slight loss in quality wouldnt hurt that much. Is there any place here that sells hauppauge so that i can view it first hand?

Pretty much crap. Their so called HDTV tuners cost around RM600+ last I saw, and isn't really that pleasing either. You can go to LYP to find some of them though.

The tuner is different than hd pvr right? Or is it the same.. Coz last i check in UK hd pvr cost around 170 pound ~ rm950. But that's at online shops so i cant actually see it for myself first.

What to do meh...Other external recorder you mentioned is multibridge but thats WAYYY over budget lol sweat.gif

hehe...

Multibridge is like the god of external recorders.

End of the year, if I can save up, I sure buy it flex.gif

If you intend to record for YouTube, though, it is not advisable to record in HD.

The file size is massive, so uploading with local connection will take you a lifetime.

No you can't transmit video wirelessly to the video upstairs.
First, we just don't have the technology to transmit such high bandwidth wirelessly. Its ridiculous, especially in this country.

Second, HDMI and component cannot transmit wireless video signals.

Third and finally, why in the world won't you just move your PS3 upstairs and play it on the TV instead? Thats redudant no? blink.gif
