Yea... can't be true... i really hope not..Considering one of the main advantages getting a PS3 because PSN its free, unlike X360.

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Nov 15 2009, 04:58 PM) But by making PSN no longer free, Sony might end up losing some support from certain devs, who like the free PSN (e.g. Criterion Games). Also, those people who previously avoided the 360 due to Live being a paid service would reconsider. By making PSN free, Sony has given gamers (especially those in lower-earning countries) one more reason to buy a PS3 and to support the ori industry. Making us pay for it would also undoubtedly piss off quite a number of people. |

With RM50 extra charge to each credit and debit cards that you own beginning next year, do you think that will motivate even working adults to get a credit card, whenever not necessary? Added on November 15, 2009, 7:14 pm Unfortunately, it's not gonna to be a feasible idea in Malaysia. If we ever had to pay for PSN, then it will be analogous to the highways in Klang Valley. We pay toll to be stucked in the jam. Not because of the highways' fault, but due to the bottleneck of the traffic condition and how crappy the roads are being designed in KL itself. Just like PSN. We pay and yet we are stucked with crappy connection. Not because it is PSN' fault. We pay PSN so that they have more money to maintain their service, but it is our country's favourite ISP which gives the bottleneck. So it will be either you pay, and suffer with the lag, or otherwise, don't pay and play at all. You know, some people are arrogant. Look at how the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) had once tried to pass a law to criminalize people in the U.S. who make copies of music files in which they own even if it's for your own use. It's like if you bought a CD, you cannot rip it to your iPod and instead you have to buy another copy of the music on iTunes in order to stay legal. Also, those people who previously avoided the 360 due to Live being a paid service would reconsider. Its ok if they charge for PSN but since they have alot millions of PS3 users, a fee around USD1 should be fine,

however it is a stupid idea to charge fees for multiplayer in PSN, as of now, PSN overall is still not up to par as XBL. I think Sony will not consider this at all at least at the moment, as they need to topple the sales of X360, and free MP is one of the advantages that PS3 has to offer.

I've tried using notebook cooler b4 for my PS3.
well'I notice there's a slight temperature down and it does feel that it maintain ur PS3 temperature in a long period of time (it doesn't get hot as fast as without a cooler).. And it did'nt affect your PS3 if you plug its power to the PS3 through usb port. But I don't know how good it is comparing to the intercooler for PS3. Hv yet the chance to use it. I think the PS3 intercooler would be better though. Down side of using notebook cooler is that if your PS3 is not slim version, the cooler might just get crushed. My notebook cooler hv 3 fans. but only 2 functioning..coz one just got crush and the fan did'nt function (until you lift the PS3 up). |

imho, dont use the intercooler, it just ends up disrupting the ps3's internal fan. if you really insist on a secondary cooling system, then i guess the notebook cooler would be the better choice. i dont think you need one though.
