you can use PS2 controller on PS3..but you got to hv the adapter. I believe ' allen96713 ' selling it at lowyat ground floor for rm37.. here is his link in lowyat.net

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=180&t=844700

i'm also wanted to buy the converter..but yet to hv time to travel to lowyat. tongue.gif
By the way..does using PS2 controller on PS3 hv any disadvantage in playing games? or any uncompatibility issue?

I would like to know how well it works if i buy the PS2 controller adapter from Sony for PS3 and hook up my Dualshock 2 & a 3rd Party Fighting Stick for PS2? The adapter cost around rm80++ it's still cheaper than buying a PS3 fightstick or a DS3, but want to know if there's any problem?

I'm using one..PS2 controller to PS3 console works really fine. I bought it for rm37 at lowyat ground floor.

what about the usb-PS2 adaptor which is sold at computer shops for around rm15? can use that to link two DS2 at once rite?

hurm I dont know about that...but does this usb-PS2 adapter hv option to become controller number 1, 2, 3, or 4? and does it switch ur "analog" button in DS2 to ur "PS" button like in DS3? if it is..better buy the rm15 one..hehe.

I've tried using notebook cooler b4 for my PS3.
well'I notice there's a slight temperature down and it does feel that it maintain ur PS3 temperature in a long period of time (it doesn't get hot as fast as without a cooler)..
And it did'nt affect your PS3 if you plug its power to the PS3 through usb port.

But I don't know how good it is comparing to the intercooler for PS3. Hv yet the chance to use it. I think the PS3 intercooler would be better though.

Down side of using notebook cooler is that if your PS3 is not slim version, the cooler might just get crushed. My notebook cooler hv 3 fans. but only 2 functioning..coz one just got crush and the fan did'nt function (until you lift the PS3 up).

Your thumdrive or Hdd need to be in Fat32 format if i'm not mistaken. only then PS3 will detect.

in your computer, you check the thumbdrive or hdd properties. it will display there under file system. either NTFS or FAT or FAT32.

if yours is not FAT32..you just can format the thumbdrive / hdd and change the file system.

if your in PJ area, you can go to Digital Mall in ss14. there is an All IT Hypermarket at the top most level..go to their adapter and cable area. They surely have it.
