I think manual login is the only way you can do it, bro.

all pro here pls help,

i would like to ask, i jz bought a blu ray movie and the disc got abit scratch, so if play at PS3 do u think it would be a problem or not?
*
If it's a new disc, you should go back to the store and get a replacement. I thought Blu-Ray discs are designed in such a way that they have a coating that protects the disc from scratches?

Back to the issue. Well, I did bought a second hand copy of Uncharted : DF and there are a few of finger prints on the disc, so far no issue for me.

Doesn't mean it can't be scratched.
Its just not as easy to scratch that is all.
*
Agreed. Anyways, it's pretty rare to have scratches on new discs. If it does, then it reflects badly on the QC and the manufacturing process.

Hi guys,

I am having some issue with my PS3 fan. It has been quite noisy today on and off for two times when I was playing co-op in Uncharted 2.

The last time when the fan become noisy is when I played GTA4. I'm not sure what was happening actually and a bit worried.

KL temperature around 32 deg C now.

Can you guys enlighten me on this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Games are indeed region-free.

Some BDs are also region-free.

You have to redownload the DLCs. They are copy-protected.

Sony allows up to 5 downloads per PSN account. That's how up to 5 people can share money to buy DLCs.

Wireless router is not recommended for HD content, because the speed can increase/decrease over time, and may affect the bandwidth required to stream the MKV files.

In the end of the day, Sony did all these to save themselves from legal and licensing issues. laugh.gif

Hi guys,

First of all, my PS3 is a 40GB JP Fat Model. (CECHJxx)

Seems like the noisy PS3 issue has been happening quite often for the past 2 weeks. I have did some troubleshooting and here is my observation:

1. For the past two weeks, I am only playing Uncharted 2. Haven't tested with other games yet. So, I couldn't jump into the conclusion that it is a software problem.

2.The noise problem is more apparent during day time when the weather feels warm and hot.

3. I turned off my PS3 and turned on the air-cond in my room and restarted it. When my room is cool enough, the noise problem seemed not happening at all.

Should I be worried and just bring my PS3 to any repair shop for a checkup/service? If yes, then is there any shops that you guys can recommend sending my PS3 to?

Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(chuppy @ Oct 29 2009, 01:25 AM)
hi,
currently i am playing uc2 and batman aa, during my game play it hangs..
is this normal for a ps3 to hang during game play?? or my ps3 got problem d?? currently my ps 3 is a 80gig with latest firmware.
also if the game hangs, what procedure should i do..
i tried to press the ps button, but nothing happen
please advice..
*
1. Eject the disc first
2. Hold the power button on the front of your console for approximately 7 seconds until the light turns red.

Btw, PS3 hangs while playing Uncharted 2 is a known issue (some speculates that maybe it is because the game itself pushes the PS3 to its limits).

The 3 common issues with U2 has been identified so far.

1. PS3 fan goes into "screaming" mode.
2. PS3 auto-shutdown by itself
3. PS3 hangs/freezes.
