wait i dont quite understand. yes, the previous owner's profile is still in the system. why will i lose space if i format without deactivating the system? if there are psn downloads by the old owner, i can still access them when using my new profile?

btw, where can you all recommend to get ylod problem fixed? what is the cost roughly?

hmm i guess its ok if you are going to format the whole thing. if there are psn games from the old owner, then yes you can access them. unless you delete his user profile. but since he is no longer using his ps3. you might as well keep it and enjoy the games he bought. if any.

last night after playing ninja gaiden, wanted to quit the game and go to bed.
but then the screen goes black. after awhile i press randomly on the DS3
somehow i got into my music playlist. but then still no visual on the screen.
anyone experince this before?

but only during music playback, the screen turn blank and I pressed square button, it returned to default visual display. As for game, so far no problem..probably a glitch or something
