QUOTE(anfieldude @ Dec 30 2009, 04:42 PM) IIRC it's retailed @ RM18,999. Best Denki did make an offer once in KLCC Convention Center for RM13,999.The PQ of 63" is not as good as the 50" B650. Anfield, btw how much is your new 60" Kuro?? If it's not convenient to tell here, please pm me. Thanks This post has been edited by ronaldjoe: Dec 30 2009, 05:35 PM |

It has a web interface that allows u to check the hrs using a computer in the same network. It is breaking in pretty well. The sharpness is becoming better. The pixel noise is also improving. The one thing is the "Pure" Mode with Colour space 2 gets the colours pretty accurate out of the box. In my opinion, the Kuros take about 100hrs or so to settle down. Then they shine. HD using Astro b.yond looks great. I will calibrate it once at 50hrs then again at 200hrs. Shd be good to go by then. Done some viewing for BD and it looks phenomenal. The black levels definately are better than my 8G Kuro and its still new. The black levels will improve with time as well on this set. SD also looks good. It already looks small to me now. So the next upgrade will have to be a projector >100in screen! Maybe in a couple of years. |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Dec 31 2009, 10:52 AM) Bro, I am still waiting for it to hit the 100hrs mark for the plasma. Hence, the LED LCD should be ready for calibration. However, I have some plans to move out of my home soon, and likely the environment backgrounds for both TVs may change. Kindly allow me some time as I would want my TVs to be calibrated at the new place. Still looking for a new suitable place... |

Wanna ask u pros,
seems like when i set the refresh rate to 50hz, movie becomes clear and sharp when object is in motion. really smooth and clear. most prolly it's set at 100hz. i can see the difference even when i compare to 60hz. but it jerks and judders at times. not minute judders but real slow judders. when i set it to 24hz, it's smooth (cinema motion on), but not as clear and sharp as the 50hz. watching high def cartoons set at 50hz are a blessings, clear and sharp but it judders at times. what do yo guys set for your refresh rate from ur equipment? thx. |
