No one else has this issue. It's time to return your tv for another set.

Connection problem like power cable? Did try unplug and plug but didnt go away. Could it be low or high power supply to my home?

Might be a power supply issue, check other sources and cables, else u probably need a service call.

Hi to Plasma TV sifu, I bought a Samsung PS42C450 for my 1st Plasma experience and waiting for delivery. Recently I read somewhere talk about break-in for new Plasma TV: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=583089I'm not a LCD/Plasma expert but I'm really getting very confused and really need some expert advice / comment: 1. should I still do the break-in for new Plasma TV? (note: some suggest no need some yes still need ....) 2. if yes still need to break-in, then: - is it better to use the USB jpeg picture or DVD playback? - set min or max contrast? - should I run it continuously (non-stop) for 200~250 hours straight (9~10days)? - if only accumulation, is it better not to watch anything until reach total break-in hours? Thanks in advance!

Suggestion to change the display panel which cost couple of thousands ringgit. Power from tenaga is not reliable too. There are so many power surge/short power cut (1 to 5 seconds!). thanks Added on April 13, 2010, 12:51 pmQUOTE(ronaldjoe @ Apr 10 2010, 11:35 AM) Do you use any power filter for this? Pls ask them to either send someone to check on site or send it in to the Sammy service centre.

Typical samsung service center style...i went to service my samsung phone due to a usb receiver being loose, they told me they had to replace motherboard which cost more than the phone....ridiculous....eventually i brought my phone to some random low yat shop, and they fixed it in a few hundred bucks.... tts y i swear i will NEVER buy any samsung anymore......had more than 1 bad experience with their service already, the other was on a lcd display which was spoilt, repaired, and spoilt again right after 3 months which is the warranty period of the repaired parts.... Mine already came with 2006 firmware but the build date is 14/11/2009. Will upgrade to the latest one just for the heck of it.
OT, I just managed to get see the 2010 C6500. IMHO, the silver stand looks cheap and the black levels are not as good as the B650. The C6500 blacks were grey compared to C650 LCD that was beside it. But of course, that was viewed in a bright environment and probably uncalibrated. U guys in Penang can go check it out for yourselves in Besk Denki Gurney Plaza.

The new firmware still doesn't fix the cinema smooth (CS) feature.
Turn on CS on 24p source and i noticed these:
Cons 1) screen flickers during dark scenes 2) slight lip sync issue 3) 2% increase in brightness
Pro 1) Smooth panning
Dammit why can't they fix this CS issue? It's 1 year already.
