Ohh, this one!
I wonder if you know Titan suspension (for car). The boss owns this bike, and he customize the bike absorber for better handling.

Mr Richard. He said the standard absorber is a bit stiff, not comfortable to ride on KL road. So he make the bound slightly softer and rebound slightly more firm. If not the bike is a bit easy to grip uneven road at high speed.

Devil, NaGeNaZ,
last time my dad was asking me the same question too. His Suzuki Shogun is kinda screwed up, wanted to change a new bike. He decided on FZ for long distance.
For modification, its basically the same. FZ engine can modify like LC.

FZ camshaft is 270 degree, near to stage 2 cam performance. The pipe and EFi is the limitation. Take out that EFi and put a 28mm carb, you can instantly get more power at top end.  brows.gif
bro, which bike are you going for? Yamaha R1??
Bizzy, last night my carburetor pilot air screw is at 3 1/2 turn --> slightly lean setting. The fuel is burnt more completely, thus making more noise.

This morning I turn back to 3 1/4 and go for 30km testing. Guess what, the pipe becomes more silent, no more big bang and occasional blurp. Its a smooth rev sound closed to NOB1 SSS level. (It's better that you hear with your own ear).

After that I went to find my fren and complain about the sound level. He said can change to another type of fibre to absorb noise, just need to add RM15. I am going to try out with the high quality fibre next week, perhaps you guys can go along and listen.

bro.. r u sure fz cam is 270 degree? hmm.gif

I want to retire my 5 years old loyal Lagenda. Thinking about LC or FZ150i coz everyday i have to travel about 60KM to work. (Seri Kembangan to Damansara)

Need opinion on LC riders who also have experienced with FZ150i.  icon_rolleyes.gif Help me ya.

its for better cornering + better comfort. Inverted monotube damper can tune it this way.

Tips to Improve Engine Performance

Minor mod (increase acceleration)
1. Remove air filter. (Penang people can find me, FOC)
2. Reset carburetor air-fuel setting. (Penang people can find me, FOC)
3. Set valve tapette to 10 IN and 15 OUT. - RM30 labour charge @ New Bee Hock motor, Penang.
4. Change to 15-40 with 415 chain. - RM100
can anyone tell me wut is this?
wut does it do to our bike?

power band is affected by cam, pipe, port size. In short, the amount of air-fuel mixture into the engine combustion. this cam can rev to 9k, but practically FZ cannot do it.

NOB1 SSS is designed for mid range, not the top end power. The engine wanna output this much at 8000rpm, but the pipe cannot handle.

sadly my Nob1 trioval cannot give better output at high rpm range. its kinda loss top speed. Am i missing something here? the powerband on low-mid is great, pickup is good, but the top speed is catastrophic...doh.gif
