regarding of GMXT, would like to ask all the sifus here. What is datum? it's in Garmin > tool > Setting > system. What's ur datum? Mine is WGS 84. Is that the ideal datum?

And also in my memory card there is this CITIES folder that got diskcache file. I think it's relate with Gramin. Can I just delete it? There are so many subfolder starting from 0 - 9 and A - F.

My garmin also cant lock anymore (using Integrated only) after update to v30. before this ok.

Just came back from NCC Sunway. The service sucks. I told them i had memory corrupt problem with my class 2 memory card and after 2 hours, again only a reformat. As this is the second time i sent to NCC for this problem, they said according to records, others only got a class 4 memory card when they sent it in the 3rd time. How dumb can they be? I should have lied to them that this is the tenth time.

I retest my GPS locking quite heavily for the past few days since it suck at locking after upgrading to V3o. After trying to lock several time using Nokia Map and Garmin, the locking speed increased significantly. Now it's capable of locking fast even without AGPS enabled, similar to my previous V21. Now locking less than 2 sec WITHOUT AGPS, if i try to lock within few kilometers from previous locked location.

Either it's learning to lock faster (history of current location?) or the weather (quite hazy these few days..).

If u have problem with your GPS on V30, try to give it a few lock. It MIGHT improved.

I tried to use nokia music again today after giving up a long time ago. I can't seem to create playlists. The + button to create playlist is not clickable. Any solution?

Is your A-GPS switched on? It helps to locks to satellite faster.

I have also been testing GPS locking extensively after updating to V30. My observation is that after using A-GPS to lock and then disabling it I can easily get a lock if I restarted Garmin soon after. However after a few hours the problem surfaces again even at the same location. With V20 I usually get a lock in less than a minute with only Integrated GPS all the time. I don't know whether the hazy sky has anything to do with the difficulty in locking. How I wish I can revert to V21 because the other improvements in V30 are minor.

Dude...i really pity you...i also went to TWO NCC (BB plaza and Plaza berjaya) and state all the condition and yet..all they try to do is just a reformat....i told them i know reformat...it is called *#7370# and i have done it more than 10 times~!

Annoyed..i went to the NCC in Ipoh . . . I go in i say i wanna change the memory card ( they wanna close the shop d , went in JUST before the gate close ) the lady said cant be done...cause they need to help me put back the software and music etc... ( kinda nice they give such service )

but then i said i already back up myself...just give me a new memory card ! ... VOILA ..in under 5 minutes ... i get a spanking new PNY memory card ( didnt state what class ) in under 5 minutes. They didnt even check my phone or what .. just need my IC .
