Just successfully update my GPU driver to 275.33 for BF3 alpha phase.

Updated already too. Didn't do any benchmarking so can't comment.

AMD released 2 Catalyst driver yesterday!

Being me, I install the 11.8 Preview without second thoughts! Especially because this driver improved a few aspect of 5000 series card (i have 5650).

Here is some benchmark:

Catalyst 11.6 (WHQL)
- 3dmark06 (stock clock): 7622

- Resident Evil 5 (Fixed): 60.1 FPS
- Resident Evil 5 (Vari): 63.1 FPS

Catalyst 11.7 (Unofficial)
- 3dmark06 (stock clock): 7766
- 3dmark11 (OC 774/1113): 1446
- Resident Evil 5 (Fixed): 60 FPS
- Resident Evil 5 (Vari): 62.7 FPS

Catalyst 11.8 Pre
- 3dmark06 (stock clock): 7755
- 3dmark11 (OC774/1113): P1442
- Resident Evil 5 (Fixed): 60.2 FPS
- Resident Evil 5 (Vari): 62.7 FPS

Conclusion: Slight improvement detected. Have not tested MLAA. According to readme, can give up to 30% improvement on 5000 series card! So, this driver is recommended!

^ meh.. i stick with 11.5b. pre 11.8 gave me weird texture glitch in dirt 3, rfactor, supreme commander 2 and even in heaven benchmark.

cow.. only 11.8 improve mlaa during full screen if windowed LPPL.. i feel got a bit mouse lag with 11.7 official! 11.7 dun have improvement at all.. but fixed the flickering issue + bsod!

uh-oh...

11.5b seem to give me best performance in older game too...

i have heaven benchmark, testing now, will report if i have glitch too

ps: lucky i dont have anything abnormal in Heaven benchmark... still amazed by the floating island and all the graphics details... and the things is render on the fly... nice... btw, i m using the previous CAP...

11.7/8 for portal, crysis, those high demanding games.. not related to us lah bro.. u c cap3 listed what games u knw.. but amd tried to increase 5&6 series card mean they never neglected us...

Surprisingly my GPUs performance are tremendously stable using 280.19 Beta

Not yet, but my gaming performance in improves. No more throttling, no more crashing

Level 8 already. Full of bugs and crashes. Quite impressive too actually

Badly unoptimized, especially dual GPUs aspect.

Heard that only GTX580 capable to run >40fps for 1080HD resolution with High setting. Don't really mind tho, it still on Alpha stage.
