QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Aug 1 2011, 01:29 AM) Badly unoptimized, especially dual GPUs aspect. Heard that only GTX580 capable to run >40fps for 1080HD resolution with High setting. Don't really mind tho, it still on Alpha stage. Yeap, I think more work will be done to increase the hardware optimization.

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i'm a bit cut off from gaming for quite a while, and looking to purchase a new laptop. Not sure what specs should I look for. Any recommendation? budget around 3-4k, looking forward to play games like COD4, crysis, farcry, etc. (I know i know, i'm super outdated). Help please?

I read that it should be fixed starting from the i5 models. More of a mobo problem and not the graphics card? At least that's what HP says.
How about Dell? I guess their pricing sucks?

Yup, but the graphics card is a letdown.. no option to customize it either. Most I can do is up the texture memory only, which is pointless..
The alienware models are a bit too far fetched. The only one under 4k has pretty bad specs. just looks awesome

But then the Dell XPS 17 (not available here) does come with FullHd and GT555m There's 2 AW models under RM4k, M11x R3 and M14x R1 (base model)

QUOTE(pandera999 @ Aug 5 2011, 01:45 PM) 2012 is the year of android phone Tablet too. Kal-El brings Core 2 Duo processing power to tablets and Windows 8 adds ARM support. I have a strong feeling we can dual boot Android tablets too.
