i just bought a laptop. Its GC is GeForce 9600GM GT Turbocache which has around 2GB of RAM in it. I am aware that it is a mid-range GC but I just wondering how long it can 'tahan' before it is outdated? I can play Crysis on high setting though tongue.gif

what brand of laptop did you brought?

i really think something wrong with my 3dMark06 software.
if my driver is the problem, i assume there is decrease in performance on my GC.
but why i still be able to play Crysis Warhead with Enthusiast setting? (1920x1200 & AA x2)

can u go to C:\Users\your user name\Documents\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL 5 Benchmark Version
and open the config.ini file?
make sure SLI=ON & JobThread=4 since urs cpu is quad core
then it shoulf improve ur RE5 benchmark result

i think so coz ur 3dmark vantage almost same with notebookcheck.net
btw, its performance very impressive thumbup.gif my desktop cant even run it smooth in 1440x900 (check my sig)
*
wow shocking.gif how the hack did u know all that?
i google everything but just found nothing~
thank you very much notworthy.gif
will benchmark again later

yea. but why 3dmark06 shown a low mark, i still dont know. sweat.gif

QUOTE(kirakun @ Sep 7 2009, 09:26 PM)
Is the enthusiatic setting the highest in crysis warhead? I recalled played it with the highest setting as well @1920x1200 with no lag at all but at times the framerates will drop to about 20-25 though. So its not surprising that yours are able to so as well. Anyway GTX280m are supposed to perform better though compared to 9800m gtx. The only qs now is why the your benchmark score so low?
*
yerp. that the highest setting possible. biggrin.gif
hm i think my framerate is bit higher than that, but i will use fraps next time.
i still dont have answer for that. but i googled, there is a lot of people that have the same spec as me encounter the same problem regarding 3dmark06 but fine with vantage rclxub.gif

*updated my benchmark biggrin.gif *

walau!!!!! u sure the setting of RE5 b4 & after configured is same!! shocking.gif
the average fps was 30+fps....and now 77.5fps
looks like ur laptop should be free from problems except the common issue of 3dmakr06
enjoy ur laptop thumbup.gif
