ya Saturday, maybe i saw u? haha.. Yea, at 1 point he is being sarcastic but seems like a blood sucka to me, only know suggest surgeries. Then die die say is ur living environment problem, windows and door no open, got box in room, bla bla bla bla. My friend is going to Sunway today for 2nd opinion though.

He explained too much to me, but at the same time insist on doing surgery. He even say he can give 1 week MC to rest if i do surgery, hard sales surgery LOL! I asked him if surgery can fix sinus for good or will it re-incur, he say still depends on your living environment. Then whats the point of doing surgery  shakehead.gif

By the way, when you went, alot of patients?

ya she going KCE. lets see how it goes.

Same advise he gave me more than 15 years back, insisted on surgery but i refused so everytime my sinus acts up, i'll go back to see him and get medication and at the same time listen to him bugging me for surgery. in the end where there's too many problems related to the damn nose popped up. I gave in and went for the surgery. But it is true also, if you ask around enough or do some research online, it is all about ur living enviroment (dust etc) that affects ur sinus

after the surgery, all my nose related problems gone for about 10 years ( it will grow back ) and now my sinus is acting up again, snorting like there's no tomorrow in an air conditioned room. My room isn't well ventilated cuz dust comes in easily and every night i'm having problems with my nose.

Safe to say that why he insisted on performing surgery is to tackle to problem once and for all. Sinusitis is fairly common problem and those with severe discomfort from that will benefit from the surgery. And of course doctors earn more performing surgery rather than selling medicines but for me I have saved alot more having the surgery rather than paying for consultation and medicine and wasting my time visiting the clinic.

Bear in mind sunway medicines are very expensive, I'm also a patient of KCE (Very good doctor)

Haha.. I went like few weeks ago, he didn't really want to explain much and straight ask me if I want to schedule for my surgery. Sometimes I wonder if sinus infection is due to low immunity because I was cleared for quite sometime and recently, I'm having runny nose again.

Under which doctor? Yea, heard a lot of good reviews about Sunway's ENT .. KCE?
*
not low immunity la but more to your living enviroment. try being in a dusty area for a while or sleep in an air conditioned room for the entire night with low moisture level then ur nose will start to act up again. THat Dr khor specialize in removing that tissue (sinus related) so if you want him to perform it for you he's quite skilled at that. Its been 10 years plus since i last removed and it has grown back and every now and then i am contemplating having to go for the surgery again so that i can live easier instead of every morning having to deal with my nose but the thought of post surgery puts me off

When I was in the toilet 2 days ago. I saw 1 of my little bro toy gun. When I pulled the trigger the gun sounded almost like real gun.

Now my right ear for 2 days feeling like numb/blocked like that. Did I just did some permanent damage to my ear???

The day it happened there was a loud ringing sound but now there is a little but not that noticeable. Only the feeling of numbness/blocked.

I'm a bit tight this month in expenses. Also if my parent know I did such stupid things they will scold me.

That depends, I too had my sinus removed but I had to as it was giving me alot of problems. At first Dr.Khor suggested that i should remove it and the problems will be gone and i refused as I am afraid of operation. Nearly every 2 months I had to visit the ENT due to various problems and in the end I gave in and had my sinus removed. Heck, I have never felt better and all the problems were gone for a couple of years. Dr Khor performed the operation on me and his fees were very reasonable like 2k-2.5 only.

If it were done by dr koay, it will cost alot more.

the 2k-2.5k that was paid for the operation was worth it as i saved on the amount of times i have to visit the ENT to get myself treatment and the time wasted on travelling.

I would suggest Dr Khor as the price is not expensive at all for an ENT and he is good.
