zergg, u might wanna check what port does the projector use. crayzee quoted VGA, n while most projectors use VGA, some only has DVI. of course, u can always get a VGA to DVI converter later on

why? better-spec MBPs are inevitable... even not launched on january, maybe a few months ahead. no way apple is going to stay behind the i5/7 generation

about this rumour, try to find the poster for it. there was a picture of the previous gen MBP. as i said, i5 MBP has always been very likely, but the ad doesnt seem genuine.

but then i doubt the new MBPs will be as powerful as the current high-end iMac. probably u should get the 27" now?

that's really weird...all macbooks sold in malaysia have the 3-pin plug. u should go back and ask for it. the US adapter should be included as well.

only two weeks more. if it's not much trouble, i'd wait. actually i doubt macbook white got update, but 13 MBP might so u have better reason to top up haha

look at it like this... its better for the temperature to heat up (i.e. transferred to) the aluminium body, rather than letting the heat collect inside it

hmm i juz did a clean SL install for my MBP. never did clean install since i bought my first mac...which was in around june 2006... wahahha

last clean install was when upgrade to leopard...but then i juz paste my whole tiger library so not really 'clean install'. that time i just upgraded HDD to 160gb n i thought "160gb is super huge! juz paste evrything lah!"

managed to claim back 60GB+ wahaha! get this, my firefox folder under user/library/application support before was already 20GB for some reason +_+

quality is ok la for a notebook. but not as loud as HP or toshiba, unless u use 3rd party software to boost the volume

plastic is plastic lah. n every kind of rubber collects dirt easily

i have a 1TB external drive, n i wish to use this as time machine backup for two Macs, 500gb each. is this possible? juz partition into two?
