hmm.. from the brochure i got from midvalley.. the processor is athlon with 800Mhz..

so its an error as well rite?

i guess i'll try my luck in pc fair. there might be a promotion price and extra freebies i guess..

well, perhaps the shop put in 800MHz, but at the end of the day, it will be downclocked to 667MHz, since that's the max speed that Athlon x2 can support...

Not necessary unless you are serious enthusiast and KNOW what you are doing. For me tho, I give up on Dell due to the fact it cant be oc tongue.gif

Err, you sure abt this? We can just oc the HTT speed. Unless it's locked as in the case of C2D doh.gif

anyway, it's more like not recommended la... cuz u need to know how the RAM divider work then u can get a good oc... there's more stuff to consider when oc-ing K8...

Prototype is not really that hard on hardware like crysis or gta4. Mind telling me what resolution you play at? I assume on medium setting?

hopefully.. theres ppl selling turion in pc fair.. lolz..

That's why whenever I plan to buy or test a laptop. I carry my own linux live cd (or ask the store if they have a linux cd). I just sit and play around with it - check if everything is okay
