QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Oct 10 2009, 12:08 AM) so that means, the new so called K45 uses the K9 architecture of 2000MHz HTT speed? its about time mobile AMD got new tech. Stuck at K8 tech sucks man. When is it will be Phenom II class for mobile? L3 cache for mobile will surely speed up a lot of things. Added on October 9, 2009, 9:09 pmI also open the cover, the only warranty sticker I find is at the screw of the processor-heatsink. wat K9??? there was never a K9... Phenom and Phenom II are K10... Turion II and Athlon II are announced already... will come out together with Win7... Asus N60Dp is 1 with the new CPU... Turion II Dual Core with HD4670 and HD4200... but from the spec, it seems that they are based on the desktop Athlon II x2 only... with shared L2 cache only... guess AMD still haven't master 45nm...

from what i read, that is basically K9, only they never officially state that. K10 is what you said, with a lot of improvements, so worthy to be called new architecture, k10. k9 is just new socket, higher htt speed.
i wanna ask, is it just me who dont have that sticker saw2001 highlighted

K9 never materialized... it was suppose to be a pretty massive redesign of K7 (Athlon XP) and K8 (Athlon 64)... it was canceled soon after it started... after that is K10, aka Phenom II, Athlon II, Phenom I and Athlon x2 7000 series...

I thought about modding the system fan to a variable controlled switch powered by the internal usb hub but the thought of voiding the warranty scares me. By the time it reach 2 years, most of the component would be exposed to prolong heat and it would be pointless to mod the system fan after that. Haish... This kind of offtopic question that drags this thread to V2, why the hell did you need to find the HD4570 chip inside it? You want to change the cooler?

just see the BenQ thread. offtopic is the topic itself. that is why they have up until V12.
hmm... maybe the chip itself is the beside PRocessor, and the chipset is hidden under the Fan?

I wish I have post deletion power. Seriously I want this thread clean and easy to access, for people to do references and troubleshooting. Yes exactly, its buried under the black heatsink fan at the back of the laptop

maybe no. and if yes, would you want to?
HD3000 series only up to HD3400 i think would benefit the Hybrid.

QUOTE(synz @ Oct 10 2009, 11:21 AM) can this laptop hybrid cf 4570 + 3200 ? A moderate performance card like HD4570 can easily beat those 3200 + 3450 hybrid solutions. Even if its possible which it not, it will drag down the HD4570 to slower speed. This is the disadvantages that i came to know. This post has been edited by NaGeNaZ: Oct 11 2009, 01:43 AM

QUOTE(Najmods @ Jul 17 2009, 11:42 PM) You can run both at the same time. CCC is easy for me if you know what to do, I can't really tell whether it would be better for you, you can try it. Both are similar only the ATT is lighter than CCC (its placed on tray, hence the name), plus it have more (advanced) option too what you means by CCC and ATT? Added on October 11, 2009, 2:18 amQUOTE(hanz08 @ Jul 18 2009, 05:22 PM) well before i undervolted the cpu battery life for me was 2 hours and 10 minutes. After undervolting i managed to squeeze another 25 minutes out of it, which is good! (credits to Najmods) and the heat went down too by around 8 to 10 degrees. when under load the voice emission is not noticeable, fan speed is pretty low so yeah, its perfect for classrooms and quiet ebviroments. hope that helps! how to make this?can tell more details? Added on October 11, 2009, 2:47 amQUOTE(hanz08 @ Jul 21 2009, 10:43 AM) yes your right, and more battery life too. how to undervolt it?can someone guide me?i know nothing in computer This post has been edited by lekping: Oct 11 2009, 02:47 AM
