Am planning to get a jet for myself. Is this phone really worth it and i will have no regret getting it?
Since u cant install any application on this phone, does this cause problem for some of the users here?

Maybe Some Samsung Sifu can post how to identify real samsung phone ? and battery and charger too
for now i still scare to buy at those phone shop .....cause last time buy a phone that the guy claim ori...after that i find its fake....
so now i collecting more experience how to identify first den go buy at those shop....

from what i noe ,my fren do work on a phone shop , they say some phone shop will change away battery or charger those @.@

he oso do tell me that samsung jet got fake phone too .....

just bought samsung jet, i was given this pouch which looks different from the original 1 but they told me it is the original 1.

hm..dont think there's fake samsung..i think theres AP samsung la kott..

but for sure ori samsung phone, they will give samsung electronics warranty, and on the back written FMG or BRIGHTSTAR..other than that its AP(from what i knoe)

for me, thats a better looking pouch..much better from what i've got..

i am trying to connect my phone to PC using the samsung software "samsung new pc studio". When i search device and select to connect to samsung mobile modem it says the device cannot be opened because another program is currently using it. Close the program to connect the device. Any idea? i wanna transfer video to my HP

select samsung pc studio at your phone so NPS can detect it..but right now NPS have some problem detecting JET..NPS software is still in early stage..

better you use MASS STORAGE option to transfer files..easier..you have to transfer file manually into the folder you want..

I have no real pictures because nobody order Samsung Jet epikcase from me yet.

Can we actually install MSN into this Jet ah?
I saw in previous replies, dauf said that can install Morange pack for this phone rite? and i googled on Morange and it include Instant Messaging stuff.
So, does the IM program really works? or maybe, does the Morange works?

yup..morange works fine with samsung jet..better than ebuddy..

ooh okay. So, after quite long usage of samsung Jet, u have any complaints towards the Jet now? haha. would like to take more opinion b4 getting this.

install nps first on ur pc, 3 option automatically appear on ur phone when u connect thru mini usb port..select nps, mas storage from there..

1) I like most of the function, suits me (haha..same as before)
2) the screen not quite visible on sunlight
3) should have more than 500 msg storage
4) daily life with JET quite smooth..no prob calling, messaging etc.
5) loudspeaker should be more louder in default(i didnt change the sound setting yet from internal settings, loudspeaker volume can be increase)

when i plug in the USB, the NPS will automatically open in my PC but nth on my phone, there are no 3 options

try this:

Menu >> Settings >> Phone Settings >> PC Connections >> Choose Ask on connection...

then try to plugin your usb cable again..the 3 options should appear..

Added on September 21, 2009, 8:00 amnext question, i copied my videos to my phone but it says unsupported resolution and also it cant play .avi files which we use real player on our PC to view. I read the manual and it says if we transfer using NPS it would convert the files to supported format but i cant use NPS as it would not detect my phone. what can i do? i would like to watch my downloaded videos
