Eh i cant play youtube video with my Jet leh. when i click on the video, it direct me to Jet's media player leh. Summore it cant load. How to solve it?

some user here also have this problem but mine works fine..dont know the exact solution, maybe firmware diff.. i'm using S8000XEIG2 firmware..

anybody can help me to solve the youtube problem?

hmm..but isn't S8000XEIG2 firmware a europe firmware ?? works fine in m'sia ??

european-language specific, not to the country.

XEIG2 doesn't have Bahasa/Chinese support.

hm..dont found any yet...i dont know why, but samsung support for asia(south-east asia specifically) is very2 poor..
need to use europe firmware..

what do we need to check before buying?
base on ur experience

hm..check for the warranty, thats the most important one..should say it from samsung electronics warranty, not from the shop..
then i think, check the battery and the back of ur phone..ensure theres written FMG or Brightstar..
and also confirm that you will be given all the typical samsung accessories for ur JET..

after you got it..check for:

1) GPS: some user couldnt get it working..so check ur gps signal thru google maps or by the geo-tagging feature(camera)..
*resetting ur phone should fix it if ur gps not working
2) Install NPS on ur pc, try connecting ur phone..some users also couldnt get the NPS functioning with their phone..its important actually to get ur NPS working with your phone so u can backup all your contacts, task, etc. Alternatively, transferring audio, video files can be done with the mass storage option..
*install the latest NPS software should fix the problem..sometimes the software cd is not the latest one..
3) Organize ur settings, probably the priority is to configure your network, security and phone settings

Java programs, recommend to install SNAPTU & MORANGE(both social networking apps.) and works perfectly with JET..

If you use english as your phone language, u can flash ur phone to S8000XEIG1 or S8000XEIG2..
Most noticeable improvements on touch sensitivity, browser, sms/qwerty layout, widget download bug fix and additional navigation software..

is there another way 2 watch rmvb videos using samsung jet without converting the video as it takes a long time 2 convert just 1 video. can we install some application in JET to fix this?

Added on September 22, 2009, 8:50 ami set default memory for camera and bluetooth to memory card but every time when i plug in the USB cable and choose MASS storage it will automatically change the default memory to phone. Any idea to set memory card as default?

Hey just wondering, is the touch screen responsive? I've seen a few reviews on youtube and realized that sometimes they have to tap/ scroll more than once to select/ scroll the screen.

also, can we upload pictures to the internet using the phone?? for eg. take a pic and update my blog by posting the pictures.
