The only way is get the prepaid plan (if available). I got mine at Bayan Bay with prepad plan when maxis first launch 3GS

which Maxis center is this? i thought they said that prepaid plans are currently not available until September.

EDIT: or do you mean that the CS told u it will only be available in 1 month?

subscribe the hotlink package? i heard that you need to wait on the waiting list?

Some forummers have reported they've successfully made the purchase via Hotlink prepaid package; as to whether or not they've previously pre-ordered, I think they must have had.

but U can always try ur luck; U probably would have a better chance going directly to Maxis to make the purchase than purchasing from MEPs or APRs.

Everybody goes through the same hassle/inconvenience. Wait times are different so I would say luck plays a role too. Also, appreciate if you can post constructively here instead of asking and commenting the same thing over and over again

ello tinkerbel i wanna ask tat other telco got provide internet service like maxis or not? and do they have same low rates as maxis?

When my turn just show her the receipt and she said

Sir we advice u to wait for our SMS or call only u come back to collect
Phew....

People who wish to try their luck , don't do this...made u waste parking and petrol only.

there is brand new Maxis set iphone 3GS with RM200 off from RRP (no contract required).
my fren is using SME pkg n entitled for 3GS upgrade.
myself is getting 1 set.
still got 1 set more.

Of course! All our major telcos have data plans; as to rates, U'll have to check them out separately but I think it's:-

1) DiGi's Unlimited EDGE plan = RM68 p/month
2) Celcom's Unlimited 3G plan = RM98 p/month
3) Maxis's Unlimited 3G plan (capped at 3GB) = RM88 p/month

I booked mine in Menara Maxis KLCC,and take my free gift at the roadshow.As i know,the roadshow organize by machines.Maybe because of this,will delay a bit.

Added on August 26, 2009, 1:56 pmI also a bit surprise that i can get it so soon~!However,pls be patient due to maxis server was so slow during activate my plan.I need to wait for 2 hours just to get my iPhone.I got help you guys to ask about those booked earlier than mine still not yet get their phone,yet.The promoter said you should make a complaint to the maxis CS.

just back from maxis center klcc. got my iphone 16g Black.

i see the name list... has people who booked from 7.8.09 til 13.8.09

Great! Did u get any SMS/phone call asking you to go and collect your iPhone?

According two of my fren who place booking for iphone 3gs, they did receive call from maxis for collection. While my iphone still have to wait. ....if they cant get you, maybe they will sms or email to you i guess.

If you get your iPhone through Maxis, can u choose the colors?

Yes of course, unless stocks are not available in which case U will be informed. As a purchaser, U have the right to choose the model & colour U want.

What if the new stocks arrived and there are no white colors? I have to wait again?
