^ anyone book on august onwards got their 3gs from sunway pyramid? i went there today to ask for collection and they hesitate awhile and look at my receipt.. and then one of the staff told me no stock now.

i feel that its weird because why she wanted to check my receipt in the first place if theres no stock available? i understand they might need to keep the stock for early bookers, but what i hope is that at least they can explain to me the situation not just asking me off by saying no stock and come again next month..

I bought the Iphone 3gs with the new prepaid simcard yesterday at Maxis Centre KLCC. Do I have to configure any setting to surf the internet using my free 500mb data? Because when I try to connect to Safari or Youtube I get the error message: "Could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service."

I have ON the 3G and set the Cellular Data for maxis 3g, but still cant connect

Got mine this afternoon. I was waiting for 18th. August when the fella from the Autocity MEP called me. I realised the SIM Eject Tool is not in the box? And the fella told me that I can't surf the internet until Maxis sends me an SMS to confirm something...

I'm currently on iData 2 + Value Plus 50. Reading previous posts, I thought only prepaid users have to wait for the SMS.

The eject tool is in the box. It is actually at the back of the divider (where manual is store) in the box. Try to find the manual books and you will find the ejector.
Everyone has to wait for the activation notice on data. There is no exception i think.

btw, as for u guys u have your iphone from maxis...does the box still sealed when we get it or have been open by the maxis staff??

I got mine. Box still sealed, stick your name & phone number.

Mine was opened by Maxis staff in front of me.

I bring back my phone with the box still sealed as that day that Maxis center a lot of ppl q up to collect the phone. I do the activitation at my own PC at home...

anybody got theirs from sabah? with or without contract?

is Maxis have restock their iPhone 3GS? can i walk in and get iPhone 3GS on the spot?

I am a little confused here with regards to the rm500 rebate from maxis
I am an iphone 3G user with ivalue plan which still has more than a year to go
In order to get the rm500 rebate, do I have to sign ANOTHER ivalue plan to get a new iphone 3g s?
Or can I purchase it right out of contract and have the rm500 rebate off my current ivalue plan?
Cause it makes no sense for me to have 2 ivalue plans just for the rm500 rebate

ALL units from maxis are unlocked.

i went to mep SACC asking bout ip3gs hotlink package since im with celcom 3g unlimited package. she said starting last month no more prepaid package and idata, i have to subscribe iplan. then im asking when will the ip3gs arrive once i book, she said expected atleast 3 months due to logistic problem.

nak beli unlock oversea mahal sangat but i cannot wait 3 months la. too long......

wtf , in this case i think i stick with my ip3g je lah.....

Finally received my iphone from oneutama speeddial. I was afraid i have to wait longer since i ordered it on 1st august but seems most who ordered on dat day got theirs already.

hi guys, i would like to know there is a blinking light beside the speaker. what is that for? is it only on 32gb model?

blinking light? Hmm. I don't see it on my 16gb, that's for sure. Don't think I've seen any LED light of some sort on any iPhone. Very curious, anybody can confirm this?
