eh booking end already right ? so you think they will now open back retail to prepaid ?

i think you have problems understanding. retail is when there is ex-stock. so i am saying when there is ex-stock, will the prepaid plan be back on. i am now defining for you. you don't retail when you have no stock on hand. no stock = booking. ex-stock = retail.

Thanks dude, thats the answer i need. An exact timeframe ! Better then people who will only quote others saying stuff like surplus stock. Surplus stock can be when nobody already want to buy the phone and it lays there for weeks waiting for a buyer.

i have found a few non maxis affiliated handphone shops who have ex-stock of the 3gs(maxis version) but the prices are raked high. no need contract or prepaid, just buy and go.

2490 for 32gb ? you getting with contract ? sandakan apple shop have no stock even when i have prebooked before launch. they have't even have a chance yet to see the stock arrival since launch date.

no, malaysia no applecare for iphone. the malaysia iphone is under the warranty of maxis.

yes, actually the stock arrived on monday night. they spent the whole of yesterday allocating. today should have been sent out to the stores.

anybody got theirs from sabah? with or without contract?

i just walked into an apple shop today at 12:30pm and took away a 32gb with prepaid plan.
received the 500mb sms at around 6:30 pm

it is, the stock finishes as fast as it arrives.i just walked in to find the last stock there which was cancelled by a pre-booked guy.so i ask to grab it as prepaid and there, it's mine now lol

actually it's up to the shop itself to sell by prepaid or contract only.
maybe maxis center themself do not sell but shops have the option to do either.

no, after you have received your 3Gs, the MEP will process it automatically for you. All you have to do is just wait for the sms to the number which will confirm that it have been activated.

from what i heard, singapore also shortage on 3gs. my friend just went to buy and had to book and wait too.

will you reconsider if i tell you 3g model are more prone to defective wifi/bluetooth ? 3gs uses a different chip for that.

er there is a shortage (singapore & malaysia). china's iphone is built differently from ours because they have to remove the wifi chip from the phone. china telecommunications does not want wifi so that their users can use their 3G.
