QUOTE(leongteng5 @ Aug 7 2009, 11:15 AM) lol i tak panas la.. all is for fun. though that was a dirty trick!~ Hehe, very nice ya? Actually, my play style was a copy from Yeb a Xbox player from the US. He show cased his Gen in the recent EVO but I can't find that video already. Try search him to see a more amazing Gen player, to be honest I think I'm only like 30% or less from his gameplays I always let dan's super taunt finish, for me that's the unwritten rule I'm starting to be a big fan of your Gen,man. Very entertaining to play with! I'm sure you're the only one I met online that can use Gen like that. mk>hp(tap)>mk>hp(tap). Beautiful. |

lol just got back home from a CRAZY NIGHT (its 7am now).. I NEED SLEEP BADLY
anyway daigo is only human, he lost a lot to other people as well off camera, but daigo's cr.mpx3 sweep link was just WOW. oh during the online matches, ojisan boy lost to a sakura (he was using viper) LMAO uryo = crazy. mago = clinical/aggressive as hell. shiro = learned new stuff from him lol i dont have enough energy and words to describe everyone last night, it was just crazy 12 hours+ of street fighter 4. the only frustrating part was i didnt get to play in the tourney because i was too distracted playing/watching ppl play i didnt realize they called players to draw numbers to decide the grouping. BUT i got to play mago on live stream and managed to bring him down to 30% health LOL I doubt SBO is gonna be better than this, the only way SBO can get better is Iyo, who didnt turn up tonight because he had work. Shiro was at the even wearing straight from work clothes LMAO. all in all, i had lotsa fun, the announcers/commentators/crowds/players were energetic as hell and hilarious too. they're gonna do this kinda event again in 3 months time. cant wait for that. QUOTE(Zangief82 @ Aug 7 2009, 12:41 PM) Yeah man.. 4th location is mana? Grabbie, yikke. where you going to depart? where is your destination? can i tag along you? most importantly what time? Tried to call you last night. Apparently I don't have your latest number. LOL! It's the old one and it's not in service. Sorry dude. Lotsa changes last night. Few venues canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and all camped at Quist's place. I joined them for a quick dinner and played for a while. Was fun. But now back sore due to playing on the floor with stick on the floor as well (I can't play with the stick on my lap. Metal + Lap = COLD!) It's was fun, a lot of people turned up and played a lot of people I didn't get to play prior to this. And got BULLIED by a lot of people, ESPECIALLY Quist with her Cammy and also her distracting sitting/lying on the floor posture. If someone ask me what I had for dinner last night, I'd answer them I went to have a buffet of CANNON SPIKES! Also played Gouken for the first time. Interesting character. It's like 3rd Strike's Urien, Ryu and Akuma jumbled up together. Tempted to change my main again. LOL! Nah, console characters. No GO! Sorry guys, I had to leave early yesterday due to "Compulsory Happy Hour". The next session I'll bring my laptop with my arsenal of emulators. All the SF games that has ever been made (minus a few like SFIV and SF:The Movie). This way, everyone can walk down the historical path of Street Fighter and trace back the evolution the game went thru after all these the years. You can even see how your character have changed throughout these years as well (provided the character is available in most of the series). P/S: Were there any punishment for those who lost last night? I was losing so I bailed out. LOL! Oh, before I forget. I think I have it emu'd, but the emu can be pretty slow sometimes, but I can bring it if you (or anyone else) still wants. EDIT: Btw, we did two team events last night. We drew numbers or something and were randomly assigned to Team A and B. For the second event, the first two losers of the event got to handpick their teams. Team A swept both wins. OHOHOHOHOHOHO! The format was 6 on 6, with the first player of team A fighting the first player of Team B. Whoever wins their respective matches goes onto the second round with the survivors fighting each other, so there is an advantage to having more of your team win. First one, Team A won 4-2 in the first round, and knocked out the remaining 2 Team B members in straight matches I believe. The second one was more epic, Team B won 4-2 in their favour. Myself and SagatpadplayerwhosenameIforgotbynow swept on and beat the remaining 4 members of Team B. Was pretty cool. Alvin, post up the matchups list, if you can. QUOTE(hatred___ @ Aug 8 2009, 12:32 PM) Grabbie, You are most welcome, Nick! And I was NOT distracting you! I was merely sitting/lying on the floor playing with the joystick. *whines* You are the one who bullied me! You can bring your laptop over. Shouldn't be a problem. Sorry coz most of you had to sit on the floor due to limited seats on the sofa but there are cushions everywhere so feel free to help yourselves next time. Tried to call you last night. Big thank you for the generosity and hospitality! - The Corporate Gamer- It was a great turnout last night! Met a lot of new players such as Jay Jay and the two new guys (Yew and someone whom I forgotten the name - sorry! will definitely try to remember next time! gomen!). The attendance was awesome and I am thinking that the next gathering will definitely be bigger! Haha! Special thanks to everyone who attended last night! Thanks to Master Alvin and Jay Jay for the drinks/snacks as well! There was no punishment for those who lost last night and we totally had no time to make the "mystery" match. Haha! Its a cool idea! Come suggest rules you want to see in the next outing and we will start confirming rules for the next gathering. Darkstalker: Yeah. It was a victory for team A last night (since I was in that team for the first set and in team B for the second set) and team B did pretty well as well actually. I guessed I improved a little playing with you guys and its so nice! Do teach me more of my Cammy (especially yourself and Kev Kev - so gila one!) so I can improve too!:) |

Don't get me wrong, Quist. I'm not complaining, more than grateful for the hospitality. Sorry I didn't stay back to help clean up etc etc. Next time around, I'll bring my own CUSTOMIZED joystick table/bench. Hehehehe. I got 2 of them. One I left it at Shadoloo. Very useful stuff!
Nope, don't play MVC2. Don't really fancy those kinda game. Everything and anything links into everything. Need to ajak leongteng5 and big mac for some 3rd Strike game soon. Too long didn't play, my Urien getting rusty. You might be discouraged to play Cammy or use those combo after you see the damage they make.
