How much you pay for the Pana P50S10K at Weng Hing as I'm considering to purchase either P50S10K or P42S10K ?

The price you paid for, did it include other items i.e. HDMI cable, etc?

Any idea how much is Pana P42S10K at Weng Heng?

Also, any Bros can share the info on where to procure the Pana plasma at the lowest possible price??

Cheers!!

I got quoted for rm390.. and they said its promo price.. usual price its rm700-900... kinda ridicules rite?.. shakehead.gif

I was wondering abt 2years extended warranty too, is it worth rm390 for it?..

Somemore that salesman slumber said "Yea, better get extended warranty, u know lar... flat-screen tvs much faster to spoil compared to tube-tvs wan... 3-5years like that"...

That kinda a remark... makes me "WTF?!"... doh.gif sweat.gif

I read an article about extended warranty and it says that is a waste of money. Consider the fact that Panasonic already give 2+1 years warranty, and if the TV is working fine after these warranty, it should be ok.

I'm still considering whether to purchase the extended warranty.

Finally!, i bought my very first flat-screen tv! rclxm9.gif

I gotta say.. alot ppl recomended it flex.gif

Looks great, really good blacks compared to other lcds i saw, i was kinda surprised that Astro looks so much better on it compared to my friend's Sony 46 Wseries.

Just tested on DVDplayer (finally i can use component on it..lol blush.gif), pretty good despite 576i resolution.

I even tried it on my pc, and it works just great thumbup.gif, especially since i don't have those HDplayer, so i can play HD movies on my pc to watch it on my 50S10, and it looks awesome!.. rclxms.gif , especially 3D rendered movies like FinalFantasy AdventChildren Complete, Appleseed 1 & 2.

I borrowed a PS3, and plays some games like Prince of Persia, Eternal Sonata as a very colorful game on it, and it looks awesome thumbup.gif (especially when 'dynamic' color enabled), despite most games are still 720p.

When 'dynamic' color enabled, it looks as much contrast as lcd, altho most of the time i prefer on 'normal' color setting, as 'dynamic' color has too intense color... really makes me eyes tired blink.gif

Cheers biggrin.gif

Clever tactic by Panny....TV for the guy...kitchen ware for the wife to keep quite when the husband spends hours in front of the TV.. thumbup.gif
But hope the wife doesn't throw the kitchen ware at the husband the next morning finding him sleeping in front of the TV instead of with her...haha
