How far will you be sitting away from the TV? Reccommended for a 50" FHD TV is around 10'. 3 times, meaning you will be sitting around 30' away?! How big is your room?! [ My living room is 3.5 meters long.So 50 inch will kinda do the job right? What i meant by "3 times" is the "height" of the TV. (Height of the TV) x 3 = the distance u should sit Added on September 26, 2009, 11:04 am
refer this:
Thanks great help dude! guess 50 inch is just right for my 3.5m room! Added on September 26, 2009, 11:54 amAlrite! I have made up my mind! i will buy 50X10 since weird but true Sarawak kinda run out of 50S10, only left those with super high price. So far the cheapest 50X10 i can get is RM4300, still hunting for cheaper price as i have faith that i may be able to get RM4000 for it. (fingers crossed) Also most of you may already know, those free gift such as camcorder, memory card and hdmi cable are gimmicky, seriously u will be better off with the TV alone. This is a tip from a Pana HQ staff. Another reason with choosing X10 is because of my viewing distance (3.5m) and the time i will actually watch 1080 FULL HD source will be really limited. So i personally think i can sacrifice FULL HD for 600Hz. Its a personal preference thing, what do you guys think? This post has been edited by dezmo: Sep 26 2009, 11:54 AM |

Some package, so called free-gifts are much cheaper rather getting separately (well, of course if u want the so-called gifts). And abt 550Hz to 600Hz, imo don't think its noticeable as its plasma tech Hz its different than lcd Hz, so doesn't really matters in terms of 550Hz to 600Hz. Abt FullHD and HD, well u already stated the obvious... much more cheaper, and if u not noticed the differences and u don't use it on PC, then i guess its good for u then.. heh Cheers This post has been edited by TomatomanzSeedlezz: Sep 26 2009, 02:30 PM |

QUOTE(OlgaC4 @ Sep 28 2009, 11:35 PM) yeah maybe those calculation for HD resolution only.. if true HD you can sit up to 1:1 distance..sitting too close to a large screen is also less than ideal because you will find that you will get that same feeling you get from sitting to close to the screen at your local movie theater. isn't this a nonsense information.. in a cinema size like 70-80foot diagonal... sitting in the 1st few rows is like 20-30foot.. thats like 0.4x.. of coz too close lor.. |
