By the time it gets really cheap, then a new plasma tv pops up with enhancements / improvements. The catch is (as always) higher price than the outgoing model. Wait again til the price drops?

The last time I "almost" bought the 50S10 for RM5600 but only to discover that the seller made a mistake and deliver the 50X10 instead. Since then I have been trying to get the 50S10 but nobody in Sarawak got stock and the price is Rm6350 from SenQ and RM6000 from outside shop.

very true.. if u feel a panny is same as kuro then get the panny coz its a lot cheaper, if u feel lcd is better then buy a lcd.. there is no need to rely too much on reviews.. if u feel that plasma is better yet your house will be bright all the time then get a lcd.. nobody lied abt the kuro.. it wasnt known as 'best tv in a bright environment' .. Michaeltan i am not sure where u viewed the kuro but when i tried in anfieldude's house it was clearly better than the pannies that i have seen.. but just like speakers, amps n cables if u cant hear the diff between an expensive and a cheap 1 then it is certainly good news

Don't forget that anfield's Kuro has been well calibrated. If you compare to uncalibrated Panny then it should be clearly better.

Booked mine yesterday with Best Denki at One U . They were having some promotion going on through the weekend .

Paid RM 6899.00 for 50S10K + FOC New Model Panasonic Blue Ray Player ( Not sure whether BD60 or not - Got to check the receipt ) + FOC One Unit HDMI Cable . Panasonic is giving out 2 years warranty only for 50S10K .

They are delivering it next Tuesday ....... Hopefully in good condition and without any problem !

Thought of waiting for the price to go down, but had no more patience left . Waited for so long already ! Furthermore, don't think that waiting until the price drops down is a wise option . The more we wait with high expectations, the more dissapointed we become !

Personally think that the whole package is reasonably priced !

So far no luck getting the 50S10 yet. Non of the shop carry them yet. SenQ salesman say they will not carry it because 50" full HD plasma is not popular and tv above Rm5000 is not hot seller! Then he try to sell me the more expensive LED samsung tv....what kind of bullshit is he trying to tell me!
