This is what I enjoyed in 2010 NOT in any order

The Crazies - good spin on the zombie genre
Daybreakers - interesting twist in Vampire lore
The Last Exorcism - I cannot emphasis enough how much I like this movie. The fact that it is LOW budget only adds to it!!
Shutter Island - A Dark Psychological ride. Goooood....
Devil - I STILL love M. Night Shyamalan's writing
Piranha - It is SO bad it is ACTUALLY good!!
A Nightmare on Elm St Not many people would agree with me but I thought it was decent!!

MF have u watched human centipede? with a title like this, i'm pretty impressed with the director showing restrain and the ending just blew my mind.btw took me three sittings to get through this. talking about gore and nudity i'm surprised no one mentioned dream home by edmond pang. a perfect double bill with love in a puff.

I started watching The Human Centipede a while back and it struck me as a very amateur production, from the framing of the shots to the camerawork and the acting especially. The two girls were really bad. The doctor was REALLY bad, but probably in a so-bad-it's-good way. I ended up skipping most parts of it and just generally disinterested, although I must say the concept of such a torture is sick.

Tormented [2009] - UK

teen high school horror. a deceased teenager coming back from his death and haunt (and kill) his bullier.

verdict: i love UK movie and i got a high hopes since it rated quite highly in Rotten Tomatoes /IMDB. but meh, i dont like it. interesting scene, one of the victim fight back with the ghost (fist fight) and almost knock him out. 5/10.

moral of the story: never be a bully or be ignorance.

Crush [2009] - Australian

a house caretaker having crush with mysterious visitor, and end up betraying his girlfriend.

verdict: i dont have any idea this is a horror movie, i assumed it just another typical teen romance movie (with hot scenes wub.gif ). and another meh, poor ending and total disappointing. 4/10.

moral of the story: if u want to be unfaithful, make sure u do it with real human.

Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity is pretty good. Fun to watch one is WishMaster 1. All the Childs Play series is prety ok until it got to the sex scenes.

What is even more incredible is that the director's uncle is really a taoist priest! The script is based on stories his uncle had shared with him (director) when he was young....

Death Bell, anyone? A Korean horror thriller. Not really scary though, but it does teach us a lesson. A comparison of Saw and Battle Royale.

Speaking of Battle Royale, you guys should watch it too. Still, does not considered as horror. About 42 teenagers being forced to kill each other until only one left within 3 days. It was quite popular when it first came out back to 2000.

Hi de4thscythell

Thanks for keeping this going!

Have not watched Death Bell

Battle Royale is consider horror (more of gore though)

Did watch the first one and was actually original. Cannot remember if I had watched the second one though.... OLD already and it was a long time ago (early 2000...)

I know I have NOT been contributing

Had high hope for My Soul To Keep, but reviews have NOT been kind and have not gotten a copy...

Keep this up guys/gals

Hi de4thscythell and izzatrahim

Yes, I also like Devil

Am surprised there are alot of people who didn't like it

I thought is was a surprising low budget well made horror movie!

I do believe M Night Shymalan should stick to writing rather then directing... I do hope the second and third movie for Devil gets made (suppose to be a trilogy). Getting SO many razzles (Air Bender) isn't complimentary... laugh.gif

The ending of ALL Resident Evil movies are like that one!!!!?! I suppose you can call Resident Evil movies Action/Horror!! They do contain zombies....
