Twilight is one of the most horrifying movies I've seen in ages.
How horrifying it is if I have to choose to live among the vampires or the werewolf...in fact, I have to live with them even if I don't want to choose any one of them.
Btw, a freak watches me sleep in the middle of the night creeps me out.
Sad life.

Well, I put this off long enough.

Had to make a call to Canada, Ontario, so put it one at 11++pm

It is a dialogue driven piece, and that is NOT a bad thing.

For some odd reason, it has a "English" production feel to it..., although it is suppose to take place in New York

The lead actor, John Cassavetes, looked alot like Martin Landau when I first started watching the movie.

2/3 of the movie is slow moving, but when it starts, it starts.

It is now 12:46 a.m. and I'm still glue to the TV (I'm 1:38 into the movie).

Will let you guys know what I think after I had finished the whole thing!

Later

Rosemary's baby is an eerie movie... made me go 'WTF' in a disgusted and kind off spooked manner... haha...

I like these kind of horror movies...

not the modern day SHOCK-horror... and sound play... thats really annoying as its predictable.

Devil (2010)

Ah, Mr. M. Night Shyamalan.

Many a thing is said about Mr. Night, and I'll reiterate, he is a pretty good writer!

He co wrote this and it is a VERY GOOD horror movie!

Very simple. Very direct! Great pacing and lots of FUN!!!

You do NOT want the elevator lights to go off, but deep DEEP down inside you kinda do, because you want to know what THE devil does next!!

Easily the BEST Horror movie for 2010.

Proves that you DON'T have to have a budget like Avatar to make a good movie (this movie was made with 10 million dollars, pittance by Hollywood standard)

Well, in 2010, it went into an elevator in the above office building and started claim souls!! laugh.gif

Rosemary's baby is good.

Was very surprise that Charles Grodin character (Dr. C.C. Hill), caving in like that.

Didn't see THAT ending coming.

The Last Exorcism

little warning though, this movie is filmed in the style of handcam...
but no worries, it's not shaky (to provide a so-called-realism) like cloverfield...bcoz, this movie is not intended for that...
n man...this movie is surprisingly good...n the ending -- woah!!! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!! sweat.gif

7/10

They are different.
For me, both shows are good.
Have not watched US version of Being Human though.

watched, almost a year ago. few sick scenes (porn torture). the scene of the woman cutting her own c******* are too much to stomach for me.

opened with explicit /unsimulated sex scene (body double i guess).

i can class it as mindf*** movies. overall just so-so, but not forgettable..

Anyone here watched "The Human Centipede"? Some might find it disturbing but for some, funny biggrin.gif

Also, try to watch "Rose Red", the movie was pretty long as it came with 2 DVDs.

The Last Exorcism (2010)

I'm am currently watching the above movie

It is like watching any of Michael Moore Docu-movie + horror movie.

Some parts scared the $hit out of me...

It is amazingly cleverly scripted and executed!!

If you like horror, I strong recommend this!

This is what I enjoyed in 2010 NOT in any order

The Crazies - good spin on the zombie genre
Daybreakers - interesting twist in Vampire lore
The Last Exorcism - I cannot emphasis enough how much I like this movie. The fact that it is LOW budget only adds to it!!
Shutter Island - A Dark Psychological ride. Goooood....
Devil - I STILL love M. Night Shyamalan's writing
Piranha - It is SO bad it is ACTUALLY good!!
A Nightmare on Elm St Not many people would agree with me but I thought it was decent!!
