1st gear usually is slow
but sometime it just look slow
like when i'm going up hill at 60KM/H
it looks very slow but if u look at the meter...it says 60KM/H already

is it due to this drive-by-wire delay technology causing the lag?

but really very very slow...

sounds very much like clutch problem...
probably like what kcng guessed, clutch slipping..

when aircon on ...hmm...it's slower than aircon on....it depends the aircon is "psssst"ing or not

don use 1st gear to play pick up la...use 2nd gear and 3rd

1st gear rev till 2k-2.5k then change gear, then end gear 4krpm and 3rd gear also...damn fun~

in this blm, please forget about how u drive in wira, kancil, kelisa and others, i always don rev too much for 1st gear...

yes, sound proof the front bonnet. use the insuflex and damp mat material..
dont bpther buy the sponge thingy.. it wont absorb much the sound cumming from the engine..

left dial is RPM...see it hit what RPM be4 it change gear

using manual....when it's totally stopped...u dn't have to start with 1st gear...u can start with 2nd
it's a bit slow but it will go up pretty fast when it has enough power

i takut i mati engine...not so good in 2nd gear when stop...

i tried it on other car....nothing one
same as 1st gear...only u have to step abit harder...hehe

now im getting used to using 2nd gear starting to move. 1st gear is just too short. dont have to change a gear more. my driving is like relaxing n slow style. i try not to rev above 2k rpm all the time =D

btw, im going for my 1k km service tmr, which oil to choose? pros n cons? sry i know nth about engine oil. anything else to note during service? im totally clueless.

just use mineral oil (doesnt matter what brand) till you do your 5000k service when i would advise you to use either semi or fully synthetic engine oil...

semi.full will make the tappet sound louder.iafm spoilt sounds like someone knocking on a plastic surface, not so fast yet constant.if t sounds like clock ticking, its the tappet.

because its the 1st gear.its only powerful but not in terms of speed, but response.the ratio is short and hence u will reach the red zone easily if u step harder.dun step in the pedal one go, push it down slowly.

cool.then the acce-lag will reduce alot. its about the response of the engine with the pedaling time.
