QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jul 13 2009, 09:45 AM) ~bUa~ i would reserve my comments on this.. in the event of wira 1.3 vs 1.5, i think the 1.5 actually have better FC though both had the same gearbox and ratio..both using same size of oil tank, so shud be same.the only difference is 1.6 finish up the tank faster. The gearbox is different in both BLM 1.3 and 1.6. the BLM 1.6 will be using the same gearbox as Persona, made by Mitsubishi.. we'll see how it performs when more buyer receives the car.. |

QUOTE(jceh83 @ Jul 13 2009, 02:18 PM) try polishing it out first bro...if it doesnt work then only try re-spraying it... i dont think polishing would work... seems like some part of the paint is already scrapped off.. deep scar..just got my BLM dyno-ed the other... 1300cc auto only pushing out roughly 60ps...will update you guys once i get my dyno again tomorrow as I've done a "little" project for my car (not your usual change extractor or air filter)..now my car is more responsive and the acceleration has definitely improved..the rpm is also slightly lower while doing 100km/h..hope to see a better fc with my auto blm! dont forget to share your project when u got your new dyno result.. |

my mom should receive her saga 1.6 at home today as well... but she wont be able to drive the car yet as the car registration will be held by the SA till the Proton Xchange voucher is cleared. We settled the payment, so we requested them to leave the car at our own place instead of letting them keep it in the store.. looking forward for a test drive.. and also looking forward to replace the 13" steel rims as well.. haha..

QUOTE(torresism @ Jul 17 2009, 08:39 PM) simota got million miles warranty...and it also cheaper than knn..btw knn drop in filter is available for blm now? i personally believe that the filtration amount is directly proportional to the airflow.. so if u change to an aftermarket drop in which promises higher airflow, chances are the filtration will be compromised, meaning that u're feeding your engine more dust, which might not be a good thing in the longrun.. same case with open pod.. stock is the best if u want to prolong the engine's lifespan.. it's similar case like overclocking your PC and feeding it with higher voltage.. so it depends on personal preference on whether u want better performance or longer life span open pod ah...cost me more..wait i got bonus first... oh really...just change proton genuine sparkplug...ok..next time change it. bew , which denso iridium spark plug is it? got the model picture? |

QUOTE(ZYen @ Aug 10 2009, 08:22 AM) i also in the same situation as u..any 1.6 owner can give us some input?? and wanna ask whether 1.6 available as 2008 or 2009 manufactured? really thx for any feedback 1st impression when i drive my mom's saga 1.6, the acceleration is VERY fast, and it's quite fun to drive, makes u wanna step deeper on the pedal, very torquey feel.. the gearbox feels good too, feels more solid than the 1.3 version "rubbery" feel when u are changing gears.. about others, same as 1.3 B-line saga.. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Aug 12 2009, 10:07 AM) xshiro the only reason i saw is COST, and disc will most probably work better under high temperature, when the car has the power to go fast, it must have the ability to stop fast also..yeah, doesnt mean that disc brake works better than drum with its grip, then the safety of the driver is more secure.it may make things worse.unless proton came out with a full disc BLM, if not, better stay with stock design. it happen to be there with its reason. the brakes on the 1.6saga(and probably the 1.3saga) doesnt seems to bite enough, not sure if because it is still new or what... the feel of braking is very stiff, and not very controlable,as in how much brake u can apply gradually till it is fully biting on the disc. All other cars at home seems to be able to control properly, the only cars that has the same feel is the ex-iswara which was sold many years ago, the car will skid easily during braking cause when u apply a bit of brake, it doesnt seems to stop, apply more and u'll get wheel locked.. |
