yup..u gotta monitor her stitches..for 2 weeks..makes sure its dry all the time..try not to let her lick her wounds..try to cage her during the 2 weeks..so that she wont run around hurting herself tongue.gif

gud luck smile.gif oh yeah..i gave my cats boiled ikan haruan (plus their current kibbles ) everyday 4 those 2 weeks..so that their wounds would heal faster..it does work actually smile.gif

I'm planning to change Felix's diet after he finishes his 5kg bag of Iams so now I'm scouting a few brands like RC, orijen, backwood etc. AFAIK there's only RC selling small 400g packet, others would be 1kg++. Would it be ok if I mix my Iams-75%, RC-25% to see how the progress? I just want to know if Felix is comfortable with RC. smile.gif

It is not advisable to mix food.beside that, how would u know which one is good if you mixing 2 or more kind of food?

Like you eat curry ayam, curry daging, curry ikan in 1 meal, then you got stomach ache, u end up blaming all 3 dishes right eheheh

so that's the point.

you can only mix 2 different brand when changing food. old food vs new food.. slowly decrease the old on, and increase the amount of new food until 100% new food. this is to avoid diarrhea or stomach shock.

if you only have 1 cat, i advise to go for super premium food such as orijen. buy the big pack of 7kg. it may looks expensive, but it last longer because only 1 cat eating. u maybe no need to buy cat food for the next 2-3 months.

Understood smile.gif. But where do I get the 7kg pack Orijen? Petsmore only carries 1.8kg and I don't have my own transport so KL and Cheras would be my only area to get pet supplies.

Think over and over like 100 times if you're going to Sea Park Vet, they offer cheap price, I should be suspicious... *feels guilty*

My female Riko went to spay there and got infected quite badly, pus all over, went to Sri Petaling See Vet and he express terrible condition on the surgery spot, I knew it wasn't that neat.
*
agree with this....

years and years ago i sent my cat (Raisa's daughter) for mandul-ation at the sea park vet......she just gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens at the time...

vet said can...no problem. no need to wait longer...can do now...

a week after she got back from surgery she got really sick...and unfortunately that gorgeous lady died. her kittens lived on to be beautiful and proud cats.

shes the second generation cat in the family and her name was fluffy cry.gif

Wayward Cat Limps Home With 13-Inch Arrow Shot Through Its Head (VIDEO)

QUOTE
Brownie, a 4-year-old cat who has drifted away from his home, returned to the delight but then horror of his owners. Glad to have him back, they were in turn horrified that he had a 13-inch arrow stuck through his head. Luckily the arrow had only skimmed the skull and the little guy is expected to make a full recovery.

The local Humane Associate in Bloomington, Indiana is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of whoever did this.
