I'm planning to change Felix's diet after he finishes his 5kg bag of Iams so now I'm scouting a few brands like RC, orijen, backwood etc. AFAIK there's only RC selling small 400g packet, others would be 1kg++. Would it be ok if I mix my Iams-75%, RC-25% to see how the progress? I just want to know if Felix is comfortable with RC.

It is not advisable to mix food.beside that, how would u know which one is good if you mixing 2 or more kind of food?
Like you eat curry ayam, curry daging, curry ikan in 1 meal, then you got stomach ache, u end up blaming all 3 dishes right eheheh
so that's the point.
you can only mix 2 different brand when changing food. old food vs new food.. slowly decrease the old on, and increase the amount of new food until 100% new food. this is to avoid diarrhea or stomach shock.
if you only have 1 cat, i advise to go for super premium food such as orijen. buy the big pack of 7kg. it may looks expensive, but it last longer because only 1 cat eating. u maybe no need to buy cat food for the next 2-3 months.
