Sorry bro, but I do appreciate your offer. I did some research these few days and found out my own solution to get the Orijen 7.5kg - Petknode. Not saying very affordable price but for me is acceptable + free delivery to door step if purchase 90+.

As a side note, Felix got his 2nd vaccine shot few days ago and since then his appetite drops. I know he might be having fever this time, so I wanna be a bit specific on his situation. He still plays but not as active, water intake is still ok, less eating and soft poo. do all these symptoms related to fever that he's experiencing?? Thanks smile.gif

what i mean is what kind of meat you give to your cat? eg. Chicken, lamb, beef, etc? Some cat when first introduce to raw may have diarrhea, some won't and some will allergy to certain meat, like beef, or other then meat, egg. smile.gif

When you thinking should you or you shouldnot you visit a vet, that is the time - You Should. However, diarrhea can occur in many ways just like what Elfreak hv mention. Is your cat still eating, running around and playing normally?

there are 2 different soft... is it firm soft or watery soft..

if it is watery soft.. like when you have stomach ache = diarrhea

if it is firm soft .. this is due to the high protein & fat contain in food... same like when you feeding super premium food such as orijen, the poo will smell alot because it is 100% protein & fat from meat.

another thing, your cat will vomit if you feed it cold from the fridge... warm the meat before you feeding them.

The importing is to make sure the diarrhea is not from any sickness that mention from elfreak. If bcos of feeding cold from the fridge, its maybe, however if your meat is cold, you cat wont eat until it become room temperature. You can feed bones as well if your cat already an adult cat, if kitten you can ground the bone and feed them. The bone will firm up the poo and it need to be about 10% is bone in your raw feeding + 10%-15% of organ, the rest is muscle meat. You can wait till the dirrhea go before you attend to feed him raw again just to make you feel save for your cat. You can start with chicken meat first, just a few chunk of bite size chicken breast will always be the good start, and warm the meat abit by putting in on plate, boil a small pot of water, turn off the gas, put the plate on the of the pot, let them steam heat the plate for about 2-3 mins, then serve your cat, the temperature of the meat and the aroma of the raw meat will make your cat get even interested to eat the meat. From there you develop to putting move variety of meat like beef, lamb, quail, even buffalo if you can get. Your final result should be seeing a firm, dark brown poo, very tolerateble odor/odorless poo, energytic cat and lots of pee on your litter box(triple or fourth times more pee then you feeding kibble).
Lastly, research on raw feeding will always a good help for you and your cat. smile.gif

normally for this cases... we used chicken breast..

take the chicken meat.. separate into 2 group.

group 1 = boil with alil bit water for a few minutes. which means half cook.. if u see the pink meat turn alil bit white.. then stop.

group 2 = now prepare another on with bones... boil it as if u r making chicken soup.

mix the 2 types of chicken... feed them..

as for the soup in group 2.. let them drink it... chicken soup is good for both human and cat smile.gif

try this first.. avoid cow meat at the moment.

sad.gif Felix has been admitted as vet requested to give him the best cure. He vomit while he's on queue but his temperature is normal when examined so Dr. S suggested to admit Felix under care. Hope he'll get well soon!

Umm... I need some litter training tips...

I have 3 cats--- actually 3 of them are litter box trained.

But somehow my male cat started pee at the front door. We try mop the floor with those floor cleaner so that the smell doesn't stay.... Yet he still does it again and again.

AND NOT ONLY THAT. He kept peeing on my papers... A4 papers / books and bags on my floor in my room. He did not pee on my carpet in my room.. but rather.. papers or books! THen I had to close my room 24 /7...

Everytime I find him peeing at the wrong place I would take him to the litter box. But he wont pee there. He only poo there.
It's kinda frustrating. When he first came he does use the litter box....

T__T if he can't control when to pee he wouldn't choose such a 'nice' place right?
AHH. I'm so out of ideas. He doesn't seem to understand when I ask him to use litter box =__=

its not like u cage your cat forever..

just cage your cat for training purpose. he cannot go any other place in cage, so he will poo and pee in the litter box. if u see that happen for alot of them, then release your cat free.. keep the box some.. since it has poo and pee smell already..

u need to clean infront door any all places that he poo and pee before. make sure no more smell.

if still happen.. normally this due to sickness in cat. normally bladder problem.

kalau dah nak labour tu, you should see the kitten and everything... check all your house...if your cat is not in cage lah. if in cage but hilang, possible she eat it all.. check the back fur should look wet because after labour.

dont touch anything first.

u better bring to vet for check up. we never know what is going wrong internally. most outdoor cats will end up like this. sometime because of fighting, falling, hit by kids, motorcycle, bike, car, etc. and sometimes the thing they eat.. like any insect that has toxic to make their eater dizzy or etc.

last time i have a friend, almost similar problem, the cat walk strangely. so end up the cat is actually having infection on the right side paws (back leg).. looks terrible... and she cant walk at all.but now the female cat is Ok smile.gif

Hello el,

After I took Felix back from the vet, he's kinda stressed out and shed a lot of fur, very skinny even only 3 days. Vet said he's still having diarrhea so meds are needed. The weird thing is the vet can't find anything in his poo. The good thing is he starts eating again. I discovered he didn't poo for a whole day since I picked him up yesterday, is that a bad sign? Do I need to get a 2nd opinion as I'm not sure the vet gave the correct diagnosis sad.gif

hold on there.. see if your cat is eating and drinking or not. the most important one is drink, so that he avoid the dehydrated mode which is quite dangerous.

depends on what kind of food you feeding, if at the moment u r feeding wet food, he will poo very less, since wet food is more towards water.

Felix was drinking normally till today and pee like usual. I feed him 100 plus w/o gas as vet told me it's good for boosting back his energy. For the poo thing, I finally noticed his poo today, not watery poo too which is a good thing. I'm feeding him the usual Iams kitten which he loves it and he ate quite a lot on the day I took him back. smile.gif Do I need to give him less than his usual meal portion for a while or keep the same?? Thanks for help el notworthy.gif
