Guys i really need ur help. my 14 yr old cat was sedated at 515 to get her nails trimmed.it was too long and was curled into her paw. Now its 3 hours and the sedative still in effect. note that the vet said that it was the lowest dose possible due to her age.

Her pupils still dilates, she can move her body excpt her hind legs which result in her falling. shes panting cause its tiring her iut, shes purring which i tjink is due to fear. and im starting to freak ouk.

How long shld the sedative last? we had no ther cjoice as she went crzay everytime we hold her paw.plz excuse the spelling mistakes as im on my phone.thankks

I think yours is the clumping kind, that's why it becomes hard. In a way, easy to clean la because when your cat pees on that, you just scoop out the hard bits.

I use the silicon one; so far so good. Smell is much lesser but better put a plastic bag at the bottom as sometimes the bottom part is quite gross :-P

then have to change to better quality litter. As I mentioned earlier, I started using the silica type of litter recently. In terms of smell and work, very easy. Clumping kind should be cleaned at least once every 2 days (as in scoop out la and probably buang the whole thing maybe once every week or 2).

How much do you put in and how often do you clean? For the silica, I use about 7.5l each time (can last 2-3 weeks with 2 cats if you scoop out the poop every 3 days or so) and for the clumping (my previous litter) kind, about 10 liter for 2 weeks for 1 cat. Just to add, I use a closed cat toilet with filter and it's in the store room so the normal areas no smell la:D Once it's a bit smelly, I'll change the litter completely

I use clumping clay litter. Scoop out every time my cats do their business so not much smell. Their litter box is exposed and in a well ventilated area. The box is a DIY, made from plastic storage tub with hole cut out on the side.

Many peoples want to adopt a cat i believe. but there's too many obstacles to adopt a cat in a big city like KL, unless you happen to own a bungalow.

well I live in a condo and have cats. you just have to provide more stimulation.
I picked up my cats from the street instead of from a shelter
