The X233 and H233H have decent colours, but the H233H looks more vibrant because of its glossy screen. I don't fancy X233's design though, looks kinda like the head of an airplane

AOC got new model 2436VW but it doesn't have hdmi, price is cheaper, selling price around RM635

Thanks but I happen to be one of those guy who is not into AOC, cause I saw one in PC Fair with very bad backlight bleeding.

More interested in Samsung for its colors and viewing angle (170 horizontal).
I saw an Acer in BJ Complex, it looks quite decent too.

gahhh next week getting my monitor ><

yeah aoc angelo do have serious issue of backlight bleeding

I still think VX2433wm is the best buy for a sub RM700 monitor.

With 120Hz, you need dual-dvi for it to work.

Saw a couple units of AOC Angelo in Digital Bay, Jusco Seberang Prai. Saw the demo on AOC not really good in image but that could be due to the source of the media played.
They have a lot of model on display: Samsung P2350, Samsung P2370, Samsung LD220, Samsung 2494HS, AOC 2343sw and some 19"LG.

After the comparison among them, i took 2494HS mainly due to its superb color reproduction and rich connectivity, D-SUB,DVI and HDMI.

I did compare 2494HS with the VX2433wm but I don't know...I prefer the VX2433wm. I feel the VX2433wm's color is more vivid and lifelike.

Heard good from Viewsonic but very hard to come by in Penang, so have to make do with 2494HS.

How much did you buy the 2494HS?

Quite cheap, i bought my with RM799 and it comes with 4G Thumb drive FOC.

HDMI you said? Samsung 2494HS then. They are having a promotion now at only RM799+4G thumb drive foc.

I'd recommend Viewsonic VX2433wm. Promotion @ RM685 only @ LYP.

With every cable you need except HDMI cable.
