it's not LED iianm
it's the plastic itself tinted with red color or something, which makes the bezel looks brown-ish

there are people who mod their LCDs by attaching the panel to acrylic frames, and install LED in the frames themselves. looks darn classy (but distracting for sure)

Are there any 1080p or 1200p E-IPS panels that are LED backlit?.... If there are, it'll be the ultimate price & performance combo....

U2410 is not a E-IPS... but a IPS (or H-IPS) 12bit panel...with colours range in the billions instead of 16.7million (8bit panel)

Hey hey...

Just got back from KL...and I got myself a ..................

Viewsonic VX2433wm.

I compared it with Samsung P2350 and the color it produces are better. P2350 is a bit gloomy. Now I'm trying to setup the optimal settings.

Oh ya, I bought it for RM685 @ Sri Comp. The cheapest I can find.

Hmm, i'm looking for an LCD Monitor that would be good for Gaming and a great viewing experience while watching TV shows or Films or YouTube.

Everything in my comp(Hardware, Software & Peripherals) are updated except for my monitor. Mine is an old CRT and i want a new monitor that could give me a new experience.

Any suggestions?

where i'm staying is drier than malaysia.
damn, the touch sensitive button kinnda hassle since electro static in the air could turn off the monitor by accident.

@ TwoThirdsMajority

I'd say you can never go wrong with Viewsonic VX2433wm.

It has everything you would need. Price is also quite a bargain for a 23.6"-er.

I went to evaluate some LCDs yesterday and found out that oddly Viewsonic is better than Samsung P2350.

i think refresh rate for monitor is to reduce flickering on the screen..the reason why i want to go for 2ms coz i have experience both 5ms n 2ms response time while play games..example like pes2009,when there are fast movement on 5ms, it will be like ghosting n blurry..but for 2ms response time, the image is crispier..mayb my eye just too sensitive sweat.gif

Can it be motion blur in effect? Now a day many games likes to employ motion blur on fast moving object to enhance its feel. As i said you should not be able to notice the blurriness due to your LCD only functioning at 59/60Hz. 2ms/5ms is impossible to observe at that refresh rate.
