those are a few that i was looking at these few days, but most of them do not have really good reviews or does not have any reviews at all. so perhaps you can see for yourself in LYP tomorrow

BTW, there's someone selling Samsung P2350 @ Garage sales. You might want to give it a look. I know I did =P

The AOC 2436Vw also does not have a height adjustable stand, and no support for swivel... Iianm, it's also priced at RM699 here in Penang, same price with 2434Pw but less features

saw it, but prefer to buy from reputable sellers or a shop
do not want any issue when it comes to warranty later

iirc 2436VW has adjustable stand and support for swivel as well, and it is selling at a cheaper price than 2434PW in KL
the main drawbacks are 5ms response time and lack of HDMI input

LG W2261V-PF RM 620.. is this good deal?

Where in Penang did u see the price?
Most of the shops that I went to never bother to set the display to its native resolution.

Hmm... Really? I always thought the unit is tilt-able, and that's all.

I'm on the Mainland, it's one of the shop around Prai Megamall (Pacific). But I bought my 2434Pw from a shop in Jusco Seberang Prai City, they have all sorts of models on display, I didn't bother with their reso... Only compared the colours between LCDs there

somehow 2434PW has lost its appeal to me, eyeing on Samsung P2350 and 2494HS now, or maybe LG's

Same here also since only Samsung have some decent reviews. I am eyeing P2350 since it have 2ms response time. I don't care that people will say you won't notice the 3ms faster. The review showed it and I love the feeling that I am getting 2ms response from my lcd. Haha.

Btw have you ever considered ASUS VH242H?

i rather go for LG coz 2494HS only has 5ms response n P2350 lacks HDMI inputs which i will use for upcoming xbox360..

Ya LG seems like a feasible choice...but the design is like old Samsung's design ahaha.

I've been going through pricelists and found 2 more alternatives. The ASUS as I've mentioned above and also BenQ's G2410HD.

I have the Angelo for about a month now and no complains/problems thus far, it's a value buy Out of all the models on display in the shop I visited, they look more or less the same to me except for the ones with glossy screen or LED back light, which have clearly better IQ. You know, sometimes it's really not much use just reading reviews (Diff ppl diff preference) or looking at pics (Some cams do not capture the "real" colours, and your monitor might not display the colours of the unit itself) online, go to a shop with the model you're eying and judge for yourselves.

5ms and 2ms is really not noticeable la Unless you have really good eyesight... Hehe...

i would like to buy a LCD monitor but im a little bit confuse with the brand and spec. What brand and model does have this spec

1) 20" wide and above
2) EPA Energy Save
3) Full HD
4) Respond Time 5ms and below

I play fast paced games and just by knowing I'm getting fast response time is mind pleasing ahaha.

just read the specs, 5ms though. but u can try go and see for yourself tomorrow, and let us know which you bought, and do a small review as well
