Sorry. Just want to ask a simple Q. Recently not study @ LCD stuff.

Planning to get a 24" Full HD LCD Monitor with a budget of RM650 - RM700.

Any recommendation?

quality wise, HDMI is almost same as DVI. but HDMI can transfer sound la.

Both DVI & HDMI produces the same Image Quality, but HDMI able to carry on audio signal as well. For me, the HDMI was not that useful if your monitor don't have speaker and I guess you will not use that speaker since the speaker was really

@SiFeiZai plz post pictures of w2453v you have including hdmi and audio port is it audio in or out? can you u use external speakers if you connect display via hdmi also plz post pictures it playing 720p 1080p mkvs and 480p dvd rips plz

and get 5.1 speaker. .....go for Z-5500

By the way kianwee do we need add some info about port? HDMI... DVI..

The marketing term nowadays on HDMI is more about marketing gimmick just like full HD.

As nowadays, most advertisement and marketing term make people taught HDMI quality > DVI, same like Full HD is screen is better/sharper than non-full HD one.

As if LCD monitor speaker is not better than ordinary speaker, then what the use of HDMI?

I guess it will be great if manufacturer cut off the build in speaker to make the price cheaper or improve Image quality
