yeah the sound quite lousy compare to my other compaq. i feel the older model acer 4920's altec lansing is much better

this notebook is worth enough for its spec, T6500, GeForce G105M, 4GB RAM, and the most important is 3 years local warranty

if u ve AMD phobia, well, it;s probably the cheapest laptop with dedicated GPU...

if not... all i will say is there are better options out there...

Yes you can get.The driver either can manually download from acer support site and also windows update.

i got a problem leh...i cant use external Microphone....i tried plug other mic....but also cant use....just the internal mic oni......help me....anyone got this problem also?

What operating system u used ?If windows 7,they do it on purpose.Weird.You can get supercare at the shop you bought.I just added on 100 ringgit for 3 years support.

On-site service only add RM98 from the website.

It might work.Try to push dvd player inside .And then restart.Migh be the cable disolacated a bit.A bit weird since my old laptop lenovo does have this problem connection.Acer currently don't have.

bad news guys,

i juz encountered a dead pixel in my 4736G. so since i bot it less than a week i called up the dealer, but dealer asked me to call acer.

ok, so i called acer this morning. guess what, they told me i need at least 4 dead pixel to claim warranty! what the 'ell, somemore they told me the 'ISO' standard for LCD screen can have up to 7 dead pixel..Wow..ok, so i told them that i bot the lappy less than 7 days with a faulty screen, and u want me to wait until it appear 3 more D.P. only u will change? by the time it got 3 more D.P. my warranty will probably ended -.-

so after hearing my ranting, they passed the case to their manager and promised to call back... let u guys know the result later...

the proper procedure is to deal with the shop, not Acer... since it's less than 7 days... chances are, Acer will reject ur request to repair since they ve stated in their own warranty TnC it's 4 or more...

consider Acer good in the sense that they take in with 4 pixels... most others need 5 before they accept for repair...

go to the shop kpkb with them... they ask u call Acer as they dun want to exchange with u so easily...

Hi all..I m facing problem with my wireless for 4736..
while i connect by using wireless, most of the time it will disconnect automatically although the modem is stil running..
do any1 know what is the problem?

yes they do. 7 days return policy i just called them up and they agree to swap another unit for me!

Astria had mention before Acer would stop ddr3 production and stall back to the older version ddr2.
