Hi all, i just brought a 4736G, T6500, 4GB, Nvidia G105M from a forumer yesterday.
Just now i check with CPUZ, it show me my processor name is T8100, but the specification is T6500. Feel weird about this. Any1 get the CPUZ result name as mine?

wat's ur CPU-Z version???

both T8100 and T6500 are 2.1GHz, 800MHz FSB, 45nm... difference is the cache... T8100 has 3MB L2, while T6500 has 2MB L2...

iirc the latest CPU-Z is 1.52...

Found out that my cpuz version is 1.44. Checked again with 1.52 and show mine name is T6570, but specification is T6500

Have you try to get from the website or call Acer? Website there showing add RM98 to add on-site service. Subject to area within 50km radius. Addition charge RM1 per km. link

By the way do we still need to show receipt next time if we claim warranty? or they just track with the serial enough?

my friend just brought another 4736G yesterday at LYP, when collect the laptop i notice the unit don't have the windows sticker at the bottom, while my 4735G have the sticker at bottom.The OS is vista home premium. I asked why and the sales said all new unit also without the windows sticker. Is it true?

4736 have 3 model as i know which is 4736, 4736Z and 4736G.
And 4736G come with original Vista Home Premium. smile.gif

What's the temp of your GC before and after OC?
Mine original setting about 47 to 50c. Even after 2 hours playing dota also 52c max.
Sooo Cool compare with me old laptop with 8400GS. lol

Very good spec with good price with 3 years warranty.
Performance quite good for me, very cool and quiet
GC highest temp only at 53c after 2 hours playing Dota. (without cooler)
Build quality, consider solid for a plastic casing.
Battery consider good min 3hours for wifi + surfing
Screen at HD format, but i personally prefer 1280x800 type.
Connectivity, almost all you need can be found at this laptop. HDMI, BT, Draft N

Overall i give 9/10 for this laptop. Can say most value worth laptop in market now smile.gif

Mine can see as 4GB in the system. You sure your model is 4736G? there is few 4736 model in market now.

And also my friend said he can verified the window on9 that show it's original windows. Me also curious when he brought it and when i check for him it's without the sticker at the back while mine have it. But the sales said the sticker dun have nvm, can verified online then can le. rclxub.gif

cpuz show 4096mb,
System show 4GB,
Task manager physical memory (MB),Total 3069

I suggest you take back to the place you brought the laptop. Maybe one of the ram is not fit in nicely so it's not detected. Or the worse, the shop cheated you with less 2GB ram.

For what purpose? If gaming is your priority , Then got for K40AB.
For battery stamina and less heat, go for 4736

For money value, i feel that 4736G better, 3 years warranty, 4GB, Ori windows VHP biggrin.gif

What's the problem you heard? So far for 22 pages about 4736, i see very little of problem only.

I assume the statement is come from a sales person. Maybe they wanna sell you another higher spec or more expensive laptop. So tell you so.
You may read through 22 pages of comment about 4736 here. As i remember i cant find any major problem people complain about their 4736.

I'm one of the happy 4736 user here:)
