hi guys
i need some help. recently my sister ask me to format her 4736g on windows 7 ultimate 32.
Silly me,i forgot to backup the driver first as i thought she have the driver cd. unfortunately she lost the cd already and the notebook has been formatted by the time she told me.

ive download several driver from acer official,intel and other website but
the driver doesnt work at all, especially wireless driver.

so now what can i do to retrieve/download those drivers back
can anyone shed a light on this? please help

Did anyone manage to upgrade to windows 8 ? i kinda frustrated Acer did not come up with any firmware upgrade for this since 2009.

Though to sell off my good condition laptop to those who can offer high price and purchase a new unit .

i install windows server 2012... allready max ram 2 8 gb... .
No Firmware upgrade.. what bios u used .. me 2.06

I manage to install most operating system in the market with this laptop.

Update.this 4736 been upgrade to 8 gb ram and ssd disk.4 years and 6 month

1. Keyboard getting failure(a ,s ). i using external keyboard now.
2.Screen got some blue line, but still can do job.

auto shut down at start up,
start another time o 2, it can start. randomly shut down.
highly suspect nec tokin capacitor is the culprit.
anyone repair before?

Doubt it's dust problem. The problem happen randomly. It's not overheating.

Nectokin capacitor is the culprit. You dont have to replace nectokin, replace with 330 caps instead. I bought the caps at RM20 per 10 pieces.
