Xandman & Seaotter,

If you like, I can let you try it out this Friday. I have to be at KLIA early in the morning (7am) to pick up a unit of iPhone 3G[S], and I should be free the entire day after that. I need all the pointers I can get, and I want to learn. You will be surprised how much of a noob I am when it comes to photography.

We can set the meet-up at a venue convenient for everyone, and you pros can test it out, and I'll learn from you guys. I know how to make "this thing blur" here, and "that thing clear there" but that is probably the extent of my skills. sad.gif

Only this Friday I'm free. Tomorrow got a course in Kelana Jaya, and Saturday I'm off to Frankfurt. So, your call.

It does actually. The section that attaches to the clip does get entangled sometimes. I'm waiting for September for the white strap + holster combo as per my avatar, it looks elegant that way. It made me extra clumsier as my palm is prone to sweating when I'm trying to compose a shot. Are there any other options that is much better than the included strap? I was informed that metal clip-ons is a no-no that it may be prone to breakage, plus the clink from the metal-on-metal may slip into your movie recording. Hand strap maybe? But I dont know if there are any that is compatible with the E-P1.

Most probably I'll just use back my Optech strap that I used on DSLR previously. It is better than normal strap to distribute weight.
Handstrap is a good idea but not sure any handstrap that compatible with EP1 or not currently.

I really found the clip placement odd, it did get on my way how I hold camera normally, unless i change my holding style, else i feel my palm pain.

Well, nothing is perfect I think sweat.gif

Unfortunately there is no body only option as yet.
How much is the heliar?
Because panasonic has just released a 7-14 (SEVEN MM~!!!) lens for the micro 4/3rds.
So its a 35mm equivalant of 14 mm. That is WIDE.
do check how it looks like here http://www.four-thirds.org/en/products/matching/index.html

personally i want to wait for olympus's take on this (or even a new glass based on their 4/3 7-14)
but damn the image samples looks good....

You can try this shop - dslr in subang parade. its in the IT center area there, after the phone booths. Ask for edwin. He can help with the twin lens kit.
