Hey everyone, need some help here.

I received the reply card from pos laju on friday saying that the posman came to my house but i wasnt in. The problem is, i lost the card and i dont know the tracking number. Have no idea who is the sender and tracking number. All i remember is, it is addressed to me...

I call pos laju up (specifically the branch that keeps my parcel) and they say they cant do anything if i dont have the tracking number. Anyone can help??

Thanks

Hi all, got some question to ask regarding pos laju. First time user

I want to deliver a graphic card and power supply unit to my fren. The item is in the box that come with the purchase.

1) how to warp it? use newspaper?
2) How the insurance work? Do POS paid me back 100% if they spoil my item?
3) How trustful is their service? Will they "steal" the item etc?

They *should* keep their records with more than just the tracking number. But either way, if it's not too much of a hassle try going down to the collection centre and ask for it with your IC. Also give the date when the delivery was attempted, as they sort the parcels by date IINM. If you can give any description about the parcel, it might help the staff identify it easier. Hope these help:

1) Use a bubble wrap and wrap the graphic card. Put it inside the envelop and send it. Otherwise, just buy an envelope with the bubble wraps attached inside it. POPULAR, MPH bookstores have them. Ask for it.
2) The insurance? Hm, not sure.. Never claim any so far.
3) Stealing? As for Poslaju, I don't think it will be that easy for them. Unless it's the Pos Ekspres. Since it is not insured and when it is lost, you'll only be compensated with a Pos Ekspres envelop.

Thanks solsekuin44,

regarding the warping, i actually want to deliver them with the box, especially power supply, too big to put in any envelop hehe.
But how to warp the box? i feel newspaper kinda awkward. Thinking about warping the box with bubble warp, is it stupid hmm.gif

Inside wrapping you can wrap whatever you like for your product safe. but the outer of the box have to be in brown paper or so called brown sugar paper. Then use marker pen to write down recipient's name, address, contact on the box. <-- this is a must, even if you don't do so, the staff will ask you to write it on the spot. It's in case the Poslaju form koyak/disappeared, they still able to recognize the parcel itself.
Then fill in the Poslaju Form. That's it! ^^

If you do not have brown paper, you also can use thick white paper or even gift wrapping paper. Pos office will accept it as long as the wrapping is neat.

But you definitely need to write the recepient's details. Better to include your details (sender) as well : )

Today is Thursday and the post you replied was posted on 14th, it was Saturday. Anyway, normal post office branches will only close on first Saturday.

Hi, I bought an item from forumer here. I gave him all my details like fullname, address, phone number. But the problem is, I didn't receive it yet. After I checked the track number that was given by the seller, the item received by somebody else, not me. Got the receiver's name and IC number too. So, what should I do since I called the seller and he confirmed that he sent it according to my address. Post office open tomorrow right? Un til now, I still keep the track number.
