like i said i'm on learning stage  cry.gif

so now i'm just give the seller my address & wait he sent to me???

how about the payment?
icon_idea.gif

You pay Poslaju to the seller (he sells you PS2 right?), he's the one who's going to deal with Pos Malaysia and send the item to you.
You just wait for that PS2 to arrive at your doorstep ok? smile.gif

hmm so i nid to pay the ps2 price thru PosLaju or postman when he sent ps2 bos??

guess i'm too s2pid  shakehead.gif
*
Eh what?? shocking.gif Oh, no, no.. None of the above is right.
You pay the total amount (price of PS2 + Poslaju postage fee) to that PS2 seller.
Get it? I'm sure the seller will not send that PS2 to you unless the whole payment is settled right?

What if you sell something?
Will you post out the item eventhough the buyer still hasn't paid a cent? No worries, we all learn every single day.
icon_rolleyes.gif

Good luck on your purchase!

do we need to wrap the box of the item with paper if sent by pos laju.
And can we use newspaper as a wrapper?
*
Hm, never tried with newspaper before..
But I usually wrap with the brown paper or kalau malas sangat, I ask the stationery shop to wrap it for me brows.gif

heh i wan buy.. before buy i need settle payment 1st .. to settle it i nid pay thru poslaju isnt it?  brows.gif
*
Ahaha.. Addoii..
You want to buy something, let's say a PS2 offered by any member in lowyat.net forum, you have to pay to that member la..
You ask him his banking details (Maybank ke, CIMB ke) then you bank in the money. doh.gif
Once he received the money, he's the one who's going to Post Office.
Not you.
He's the one sending you the PS2 by Poslaju la..

QUOTE(lhongwuh @ Jan 11 2010, 09:12 PM)
ayo...poslaju is just providing u the postage service..not purchasing of the item.
eg:
u buy laptop from dell.com.my
u pay dell through bank in/internet banking.
the delivery guy will send the item to your doorstep.

In your case, poslaju acts only as the delivery guy!got it?
Thanks again Mr. Lhongwuh.. Ahaha.. laugh.gif

u don't need a bank card for depositing money to other ppl's a/c. doh.gif
Just go to the cash deposit machine, key in the bank a/c no.,check the name, put the amount into the slot, print receipt, and that's it.
U'll know what to do when u are using the machine,u'll be assisted.
*
He's right. You don't have to get a card just to pay someone.

QUOTE(dani_irwan @ Jan 12 2010, 02:58 AM)
Can I send a parcel containing an old film SLR camera to the US/UK/Australia/Europe via Poslaju EMS, or will Kastam not allow it to leave the country? I've asked a counter girl at my local Poslaju depot, she said that any cameras, be it digital cameras or old film cameras, will not make it out of the country as Kastam will send it back to the sender. Is this true?

QUOTE(dani_irwan @ Jan 14 2010, 11:29 PM)
Can someone answer my question? Post #1328
*
Hm, do you have to declare exactly what's inside the parcel?
Perfumes are also prohibited from being sent but the sellers still send them with Poslaju right?

Maybe you should try other courier since SLR camera is valuable man.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Question:

Going to send an item by Poslaju tomorrow. Do I need to use my own box, or are boxes provided there?
*
Use your own box or envelope. Wrap the items first before you put it inside the envelope or box.
Any envelope will do (the brown ones) icon_rolleyes.gif

They have their own box but better to use whatever you have.
Save the cost..

Just now I checked the tracking number of item sent to my buyers, the recipient's IC number also stated there.

I don't think the bag is for Fragile items  hmm.gif ;

It might be easy for Pos Malaysia to stick their ' Shipping Slip ' on it cause some
Sender may be send an item by using Poslaju or Pos Domestik but the item
is Smaller than the slip after wrapped.  doh.gif

It's good also if it's wrap another plastic bag that provided by Pos M'sia ; at least it
won't get wet easily  nod.gif

If fragile item,i will stick a Caution sticker as attach  wub.gif

[attachmentid=1442267]

Hm? I mean this one lo..

user posted image

The left ones. When I ask what is it for, the post officer said it is for small, fragile items.
I want to ask one, but scared, she looked garang that day, ahaha..

o.o .. it's mean they don't even have one type of plastic bag leh,
i remember i got it is something in gray color hmm.gif ...

Ya, sometimes we asked one or two question they start getting annoyed  sweat.gif

Haha, yeah.. The most bad tempered I experienced was in Tg. Malim yo.. But she was being very, sweet and nice with guys.
Haha..

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Feb 10 2010, 06:00 PM)
The pos laju plastics bags is only for people registered with them.
I mean those people that got open account with pos laju.
They can demand for the bags for free.  smile.gif
*
I see, means others cannot ask for it?
If not registered, then means I have to pay for the bag?

Nope, last time was in Tg. Malim when I was studying.
Yeah, no Poslaju center there.

Thanks for the explanation. Usually, how much should we pay to be a registered user? Seems more convenient if the postman comes and collects parcel at home. nod.gif

Pos laju online tracking system is down since a few weeks ago.
Better go to the nearest pos laju center and ask them to check the tracking number.
You should demand them to call you when the items arrive since their tracking system down for such a long time already.  vmad.gif  mad.gif
