And can we use newspaper as a wrapper?

ayo...poslaju is just providing u the postage service..not purchasing of the item.
eg:
u buy laptop from dell.com.my
u pay dell through bank in/internet banking.
the delivery guy will send the item to your doorstep.

In your case,poslaju acts only as the delivery guy!got it?

u don't need a bank card for depositing money to other ppl's a/c.
Just go to the cash deposit machine,key in the bank a/c no.,check the name,put the amount into the slot,print receipt, and that's it.
U'll know what to do when u are using the machine,u'll be assisted.

Can I send a parcel containing an old film SLR camera to the US/UK/Australia/Europe via Poslaju EMS, or will Kastam not allow it to leave the country? I've asked a counter girl at my local Poslaju depot, she said that any cameras, be it digital cameras or old film cameras, will not make it out of the country as Kastam will send it back to the sender. Is this true?

omg....so the cut off time is around 5pm???i send it at klcc around 4:45pm but it says tmr till kuching and thursday/friday u will get it.so generally it took around 2 days??...sigh...also there is no envelope cuz finish already....end up buying 10 envelope at isetan....LOL>.....<

It might be easy for Pos Malaysia to stick their ' Shipping Slip ' on it cause some
Sender may be send an item by using Poslaju or Pos Domestik but the item
is Smaller than the slip after wrapped. 

It's good also if it's wrap another plastic bag that provided by Pos M'sia ; at least it
won't get wet easily 

If fragile item,i will stick a Caution sticker as attach

The pos laju plastics bags is only for people registered with them.
I mean those people that got open account with pos laju.
They can demand for the bags for free. 

PosLaju doesn't allow you to send phone. So you've got to declare it as anything on this world except phone xD

I posted a parcel to penang yeterday morning using poslaju.

Today I check using the tracking system and it says it does not exist.. The dude told me it should arrive today.

Pos laju online tracking system is down since a few weeks ago.
Better go to the nearest pos laju center and ask them to check the tracking number.
You should demand them to call you when the items arrive since their tracking system down for such a long time already.
